Just a run of the mill product but perfect for those that don't want to spend up big on their car.

It's $31 at Supercheap Auto but take that with a grain of salt.

You don't care about washing you car, but you still care enough to buy a really average spray on wax?

    • Not sure how I implied that but here's the half price car wash which is popular here when on special.

      • It's more that this wax isn't very effective at actually protecting your paint, and in youtube tests I've watched of other core ArmorAll products, they barely lasts 1/2 the effectiveness time of other wax products. So you would have to reapply more with this, which effectively means it costs more. So even at this price, it's questionable, given that it's paint protection ability is still possibly sub par, given it doesn't advertise UV protection at a basic level.

This is decent product that is currently cheap. There is better products on the market for sure. The target audience for this product is those that have never cared for their car but want to have a crack to make themselves feel better that they are trying without breaking the bank. Just pick it up while your at Woolies - you don't even need to go out of your way to get it.

          • @MS Paint: Yep 100%, I still remember putting turtle wax on my 91 laser in 2001 haha! Although I wish I knew more back then, the paint would have lasted longer and resale would have been better!

            • @onlinepred: Was the laser red? Red paint in the 80s and 90s was shite.

              • @MS Paint: It was! My mate worked as a detailer/panel beater and had an 89 TX3 hatch which still looked new in it's later years. He used some commercial stuff from his work. While my laser was fading and peeling. I think the main culprit was not using a wax/seal that had UV protection in it. If the car sits outside in australian sun, it would need to be waxed/sealed very regularly to remain effective.

                • @onlinepred: 89 TX3 was the WRX of the 80s. I wanted one so bad. I had a red RS2000 around that time and you could watch the paint oxidise in front of your eyes after a cut and polish. Thanks for the memories.

              • @MS Paint: Lol, I had a blue 84 Laser hatchback and the bonnet/roof paint fade on that was shocking. Yep, thanks for the memories ✌️

        • Could not agree more.

Armor All is a marketing success but a product fail.

    • yes

  • anyone recommend a windshield cleaner (inside)??

    • My process (not claiming to be the best) is to spray watered down dishwashing detergent onto the glass. Agitate a lot and get it foamy with a sponge. Use a slim but decent quality squeegee like this one and work from top to bottom, left to right to remove the sudsy water. I then spray on Windex and wipe with a clean microfibre cloth to remove the squeegee lines. Works a treat and the difference can be amazing.

i do windex with newspaper… something about news paper that makes it super clean.

        • This or window microfibre.

        • What is news paper? Where can I buy it? /s
