What is the best monitor to use for this?

No need for one as it is an all in one personal computer.

      • thanks.

    Hmm, as per the description,

    elevate your creativity

My creativity is next to nothing.
I can use one of these to improve my creativity 🤣

That being said, bloody good for a entry-midrange DSLR.

I got 64GB versions of these and are pretty fast

    • So the only way is up.

  • According to CamelCamelCamel, it was lower at $39 (the lowest it's been) a week ago. $43 is ok if you need it now.

    • Can confirm that. Bought 2. Didn't occur to me it was such a good price.

  • uhs-I and v30 is nothing to write home about

so not much "extreme" or "pro" to it.

for any pro equipment you need uhs-II or v90 to notice a difference shooting video or multiple fps in raw.

so just an SD card then. not saying it's a bad deal, just nothing special to the product advertised

    • I'd disagree. Not all cameras support UHS-II. For example my Pentax K-3 supports max UHS-I and this sdcard is about as quick as you can get for that camera. A UHS-II will not benefit at all (and some reports have said they are slower - can't confirm as don't feel the need to buy a card I can't use fully).

I can confirm that in the K-3 I can shoot burst mode in RAW+JPG (I have one of these cards for each of RAW and JPG) for around 4 seconds at 8 frames/second before it starts buffering. I generally wouldn't use burst for more than about 2 seconds so perfect for me.

      • in Pentax world maybe? Sony, Fujifilm, Olympus, Nikon, Canon - most of their (pro-sumer and up) cameras support UHS-II and the difference is very noticeable.

canon M50 mark ii only supports UHS-I and I have this card in it, works fine.

        • The current Pentax's (or Ricoh's as they really are now) support UHS-II. But when you're paying $2-3k for a body not everyone replaces every year. My K-3 is still brilliant.

What camera are you using? I'm guessing it's quite new. And what are you doing that needs the extra speed?

As mentioned I can take 30+ photos in burst mode before buffering occurs.

    • Is this the micro version of the same card that would have the same speed??
Would it be slowed down at all if using the micro in a standard size adapter?

      • +1

i dont think you will notice a difference

        • You definitely will if you're using them for photo/video.

          • @E4xtream: what device are you using them with? they copy pretty quick off the micro sd

        • No difference. It's more about reliability etc. Personally always buy the fullsize if possible though.

      • +1

with sd cards i generally go smaller because you can always adapt up. (you can also use them in drones and gopros etc.

I grabbed a similar specced 256GB Samsung card for about the same price recently.

That's a much better deal, this one is only useful if you need it tomorrow.

      • +1

It's bigger but slower. Read 170 vs 130 and no info on the write speed that I can find (the Pro is 90).

Nevertheless for my video camera would prefer the 256GB as this one is fast enough but the Pro is much better for my camera shooting in RAW. So think the neg is a bit harsh.

    • +1

Good pickup. Quite a bit slower in read (130vs170) and can't find the write speed, but this will be perfect for my video camera.

<$35 delivered for micro version even with genuine adapter.

  • How do we know these are genuine? There are alot of knock off fake versions of brand name SD cards

    • It's from Amazon - if they are selling fakes then we have a problem, Houston.

      • doesn't Amazon allow other sellers or is this Amazon themselves officially as the seller? Apologies for the dumb questions

  • Remember 170mb/s is BS. the UHS1 standard doesn't go that fast.
