  Will be interesting if they are Region 2 or 4 marked boxes. Mass Effect 3 (PS3) I bought from 1/2 price sale was region 2 (UK).

  Just buy it and pick up in store - then you're almost guaranteed to get the Aus version

    Well, I bought a copy online, and picked up from store.

    When I get home later on, I'll give it a go and post if it works… unless of course, I'm missing the point (I.e. won't allow online play, or something along those lines)?

  These guys are terrible at following up on orders when things go wrong. I'm still waiting a refund on there MEGA 50% sale.

    Same here, extremely frustrating process, considering they cancelled my order to begin with but have waited (so far) 1 month before actually issuing the refund.

      That's terrible. I paid with PayPal so I can at-least go through PayPals system to get a refund (so I hope).

        I'm surprised at all the issues that others encountered with the 50% off sale. All my games were Aust stock (inc MW3), and I encountered no issues by ordering 4 games. There was some delay in recieving Catherine (3 weeks).

        I think it just highlights the disconnect between online/corporate and the actual stores. It seems some are simply run better than others.

  Thanks OP. Purchased online, selected the pickup in store option, selected Dandenong store (as they had stock), went and picked it up.

  Here's a question for other OzB'ers out there… initially I was ordering through PayPal, but at checkout it didn't seem to give me the option of picking up through the store… if I had selected 'pick up from store', but paid through PayPal… could I stop PayPal from sending it, so I could go in store, to pick it up from there instead?

  Anyone?
