Well here comes the drop… $89 at BigW. As usual, expect this game to keep dropping in price. I couldn't wait any longer and pulled the trigger. Not the best deal ever but $10 cheaper than anywhere else that I can see.

Now we know why this game requires online, even for single player.
Reviewers played VIP edition whereas general public play 'Show Sony the Money' edition. No disconnect from the Internet trick to play older / initial disc edition to bypass the nerf.
I can't wait for the Uber edition where they drive you or the updated Tesla edition where they drive you then crash.
Wait for the real microtransaction simulator edition where they collect you to take you physically to an ATM, most likely at gunpoint.
Sounds like GTA 6
I'll think about buying when it's $2
You'll have a better time with GT Sport, this game is DOA
I had to grind for nearly this whole week to get enough money to pay for this week's daily race.
Upcoming announce is that I might need to grind away next week if the cars or class changes for the next daily race.
The should just rename this Game GT7 Grinder Tedium 7, but some people might get the wrong idea.
I was almost about to pony up some $ to get a PS5 just for this game.
a) glad they sold out before they could.
b) glad I got a 3070Ti instead.
As a fan of this franchise since GT1, what a shame. Utter shame.
Argh, server is scheduled to be down again for 2 hrs, we are right in the middle of it, see if it comes back online as they have mentioned by 9pm AEDT!
On a positive note, in their most recent announcement, they will be giving all players affected 1 million credits, and promises to update the payout figures to be more generous in April.
I will be starting a new post in the games forums so we can discuss further.
Apparently some guy worked out how automatically farm to up to 550,000 credits per hour using the remote play feature. https://youtu.be/Z

how are you supposed to own any of the $12-$18-$20 mil. cars when they pay you a piddly $50k per race???
the maths dont work out… unless you want to kick in money… but then that means the car costs $200 aud???
wat?
