I know the feeling. Same with my Mavic 2 Zoom (at least it had 10 minutes of flight time last year to keep the batteries alive), and my DJI Ronin S gimbal….
I am low key scared of checking battery health on my mavic air and the remote. I haven’t charged them since 2019 fml - seriously, how the hell is it nearly April 2022?
They are very likely dead, then.
Providing they were in storage charge (50-60%) when you last used them they should hopefully still be good.
@Jimothy Wongingtons: Swear my mavic pro batteries automatically discharge to approx. 50% after sitting in storage for a while. Assume these are the same so you should be fine.
@3L Milk: Yep stored full they discharge down to 50% after 10 days so should hopefully be good to go, best to checkup on them tho
@BargainKen: I hope so - total flight time is about 40 min only so far… it was around the time a big crackdown/reform was around after too many people were reckless with drones. Then I had two kids…
@Jimothy Wongingtons: I just dusted off the old Spark to see if it still flies and it was fine, batteries were in hibernation mode, but an hour later on the charger + IMU calibration she was good to go.
maybe you guys cold sell some of that prime gear before it becomes too old, so I can get one cheap off Gumtree 👍🙂

Can anyone recommend the Air 2s (not flymore) for $1529?
Have a 10% voucher from Kogan atm for 24 hours and am about ready to pull the pin on my first drone.
I think it's worth saving or waiting for a deal on the Fly More combo. DJI had it on sale last week but nobody had it in stock for a price match deal.
Hopefully once more stock is available it'll push prices back down. Or the Mini 3 might end up being close enough on the feature front.
I think I'd only make use of the batteries/charger and the little plastic protector piece. But I don't plan on using it much for the next 3 months atleast, if at all. Maybe there's some dji launches or sales days coming up to help bring it down in the near future you reckon?
In that case sell two new batteries and at least score the ND filters and extra propellers essentially free.

@Abaddon: I checked up and most places are $199 firm. $150 seemed doable, I just didn't take the deal up. Hoping to just wait it out for a decent deal on it I guess, worst case it should have a sale by EOFY's.

I need a drone toward the end of this month, so fingers crossed there is a decent deal between now and then. Was hoping the Mini 3 would drop pretty quickly but it's not looking great to have something in hand this month, and it feels like madness to buy something which will be replaced very soon.
Am hoping for either a well priced Air 2s or a Mini 3, but it's not looking good without stock anywhere.
