Under $25 is a good price for this. Certainly not $27.99.

Quick eBay search netted results of $20…

If u buy a controller u can get the bundle for $20 more with the Microsoft adapter

        • I dont think the Microsoft adapter is usable with the switch, which is why these adapters are useful.

          • @Fooah: I don't have the M$ adapter, been using charge cable for pc as it doesn't seems to like using my belkin Bluetooth adapter

This price is definitely not a bargain. I paid only $16ish one year ago via Amazon AU. Even you factor in the inflation it wouldn't get to this unreasonable price.

Sub $22 seems to be the price to beat for Australian stock on eBay.

there is a $15 one in melbourne if you want to click and collect (the game shed)

  • Manage your expectations with these. Bought one to use an XB1 (BT model) controller with a Switch. Couldn't be more than a couple of metres away, and even then I was getting drop outs and sporadic lag. The lag in particular would get worse the longer I played, getting over 1 second delay after an hour or so. Using the same controller over BT to either laptop or mobile phone with almost zero lag. Firmware updates did nothing to fix the issue.

Took it back for a refund within a week.

    YMMV.

    • I reckon it's certainly a YMMV thing.. I have the grey brick and use a DS4 on the switch. Haven't experienced any dropouts or lag. I also use it to use the DS4 wirelessly on the PC. Perfectly happy with it. I only stopped using it when I got the 8Bitdo SN30 Pro 2.

  • I paid $35 for 2 of them 4 years ago. They're great but this isn't a deal

This is the old version as well. It doesn't suport the Xbox Series X controllers because they use Bluetooth LE.

This is the new one https://www.8bitdo.com/wireless-usb-adapter-2/

  • I think Mayflash Magic-NS is better than 8bit do:

    Here same price on amazon:
    https://www.amazon.com.au/Mayflash-Magic-NS-Wireless-Control…

It cost the same, and less lag/latency, and able to use wired controller, and more system compatible (8bit do not working on PS3)

    • so this MayFlash Magic-NS should allow me to use a wired PS4 fightstick on nintendo switch?

      • +1

Should be, I used the mayflash magic-s pro on my switch, and can use the on my "hori fighting commander 3 pro" on switch
But the mayflash magic-s pro is very expensive now, and the only different, it working on PS4 too.
        https://www.amazon.com.au/MAGIC-S-Wireless-Controller-Adapte…

I chosen to buy magic-s pro, because I want to use my "hori fighting commander 3 pro" on my ps4 (it is ps3 controller), and my switch "Taiko no Tatsujin" on PS4 too, and last time I bought it for $48, but somehow, the price been climbing to $104.15 now T_T

Also mayflash magic-ns is easier to pair wirelessly with PS4 or PS5 controller without needing to do special button configuration, as you just need to connect the dualshock4 or dualsense wired first to pair it. Then you can use it wirelessly.
