A bit bizzare that a pre-order of a game is sold out? It's not like we're preordering consoles here
Pre-order quantities are still limited. The manufacturer can't produce an unlimited number of copies for the release date. Normally we don't sell out before release but with the buy 1 get 1 free sale it can happen.
Note: if you pre-order multiple games with different release dates, they won't ship out until all has been released.
Like last deal, you can ask them to split the order and pay the postage

They don’t understand the concept of preordering a game. It’s a joke to be honest.
Normally it wouldn't be an issue because you could order games separately and receive them as they release. It's just because you're wanting to bundle them together for the sale. If you contact [email protected] you can arrange separate shipping.
I did contact you guys and offered to pay for seperate shipping but you refused and said to wait or cancel.

This looks really good but just be aware; a boardgame I added to my cart has since been deleted from the store before I could purchase it. No searching brings it up and the url I had starts to load then redirects to the main page now.
I hope this isn't indicative of the whole experience because I have just past this on to like 10 friends and some have already started making purchases :/

Still makes me feel too wary to make a purchase now. There are items showing no stock so I don't see why that would be different for some items and not others.
And it's a whole store sale so if it's not actually the whole store then they should have said something.

Sold out pre-orders stay up so people can refer back to the release date. In stock items that sell out are removed from the website because they are no longer pending from the manufacturer.

Can't add more than 1 Astral Radiance booster box pre-orders to take up the offer. Reading the other comments, this one looks like it's a "too good to be true" for most products, either "out of stock" suddenly or not able to process.
In the same deal last year I ordered 2 * ring fit adventure as everything else was out of stock and figured I could give the other to my gf but they ended up canceling the order as apparently I couldn't order 2 of the same item.
Suspect maybe they are actually enforcing this rule on the website now if you can only add 1 of the same item to cart?
Not sure what everyone else was after but I found there was almost too much to choose from, yes some items where OOS and I didn’t get a chance to finalise my cart because I did not realise this finished at 2pm sharp only after seeing it at about 1:50pm.
BUT if people did make successful purchases then this was a great deal, just a shame it was so short, it made it a little unobtainable because my cart price changed mid entering my details ;(

If you read the full context of what I wrote, I was defending the deal and making reference to my own personal circumstances where I had 10 minutes to search the entire site, find what I wanted and input all my details to finalise the purchase to have the price revert in the middle of this process.

Crazy deal, was tempted to buy some figurines and other things. Yeah unfortunately didn't realize it ended at 2pm and was only 2 hours.
Do they have such a big sale often?
Unfortunately looks like the last time they did a sale like this and included pre-orders was July 2021.
They did one earlier this month but it only went for an hour and was at midnight (a time I would be asleep) so they are good sales but hard to catch.
Hopefully we can drum up enough demand for another sale?

Two of my switch games got refunded due to exceeding allocated stock levels.
To Elrikal (associated with DX Collectables): Not sure what e-commerce platform you're using, but I suggest setting max stock inventory for each item.
Splatoon and Xenoblade cancelled, not sure how when it's a preorder. Maybe if they can't order more stock just set a limit? Poor form imo

Apologies to those with video game orders that have been cancelled. Buy 1 Get 1 Free always gets a massive response for video games and our system couldn't keep up with how quickly orders were being placed. Once our stock allocation from the manufacturer has been exhausted we're unable to order more until after release. The number of orders that were cancelled was a small percentage of the total orders during the sale but I understand that doesn't matter to those who missed out. It was a very good deal regardless, don't think I've seen deals this good for games and other merchandise from other companies.
Got a cancellation on order as well but doesn't say which item has been cancelled.
Ordered early AF and still Kirby order got cancelled. Good marketing ploy, don't think I'll try my luck another time though
