Below recommended speed but should work
Don't get this, get WD850
its not a recommended drive by sony you need to get the 530 model, because the spec for ps5 is a 7000mbps speed ssd.
I wish this was the 530!
3600TBW
That's the most I've seen so far
I thought 520 were Gen3 & 530 Gen4.
510/gen3 520/gen4
Is this the best deal going on 2tb drive for PS5?
Samsung 980 Pro 2tb w/ heatink $458
https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B09J14CJ89/ref=ppx_yo_d…
This was the lowest so far for a PS5 2TB. WD SN850 no heat sink $344.18 + $7.51 delivery. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/685469
Picked up one of these for $331.17 delivered from SE eBay mainly for the 3,600 TBW endurance.
Not the fastest sequential r/w nor the best random r/w compared to a SN850 or 980 Pro but in IOPS at least it edges out comparably priced options like the P5 Plus.
It is a double-sided drive so if you're putting it into a laptop like I am, make sure it fits. Not all laptops with 2TB or above storage options are automatically compatible with double-sided SSDs as OEM drives like the WD SN810 or Micron 3400 come in single sided configurations for 2TB variants.
I think this is fast enough for a PS5 right?
