Have been on Belong $10/mth prepaid for quite a while now but they are forcing us to move to $15 in May. Any cheap prepaid alternative? The minimum is unlimited call and text in Australia, at least 500MB data, $10/mth (i.e. ~30 days)

Seems like you need to turn to Sim card churning every month, given e.g. Kogan $1 gives 20 GB/month, alternate with any other decent deal like $30 vodafone/Optus starter kit for $10 or less, or amaysim even better which had like 6 lots of 28 day renewals for mere like $8 or something (after cashbacks of like $3-$7)

I jumped ship early to Catch Connect's $89 promo plan. Belong still hadn't sent me an email yet (also said next month pay $10)… I was looking for a simple hands-off service because I don't need much data as I normally have access to wifi. Catch comes with 60gb and apparently may offer you a discount on future recharges as well (similar to Coles). Activation was easy and I got transferred in 10 mins using these options (post paid, service provider: other, other: belong, account number: check invoice on belong). App seems fine (no less worse than Belong's) and reception seems OK so far.
