Today, I'd like to introduce and seduce you to a lovely produce from a UNESCO heritage site: Saint Emilion juice!
Whether the wine is worth that value, is of the consumers' opinion I believe.

Conservatively speaking, similar wines of the same appellation and vintage usually cost 40% or more; Dan Murph and other established independents would serve as a good comparison/benchmark. A rated St. Emilion Grand Cru for sub-$50, delivered? Yes Ma'am.
Château de l'Annonciation is located within 2km radius from Grand Cru Classés, such as Château Chauvin, Grand Corbin, Château Cheval Blanc. Having a small family operation means harvesting and sorting are done by-hand, before the grapes get pressed in a wooden cage/basket. The juice is then vinified in the traditional method using cement tanks, with 30% of the wine aged new French oak barrels. Although this wine is readily drinkable now, some of the best vintages from this appellation can age elegantly for 15-45 years (cork and storage conditions apply).
Tasting note: This vintage is now ripe for consumption in 2022. Generally, soils containing iron oxide produce wines with good colour and aroma. Such is the case for this St. Emilion wine, full-bodied and inky purple, the nose has some tobacco earthiness. While keeping a pleasant amount of tannins, it has a dark fruit flavour, followed by some chocolatiness. The finish is good with lingering cocoa taste. Decant for 30min-1hr.
Additionally, I have also made available the previously advertised Château Chatain for free delivery.

Don't be cheeky, ID check will be requested ;)
Not for me right now but thumbs up for the effort. Might be good to include tasting notes in the descriptions too - not just provenance. Personally I find French wines hard to pick especially the blends. I find Italian and Spanish easier to relate to (in the context of Australian wines).
I’d be keen on a deal on your organic wines in future.
