Found a number of items at Amazon, for same price (within cents) which inc shipping whereas Vic Base ebay had $9 shipping fee. Worth comparing b4 purchase.

    • Definitely check Amazon. Only thing I wanted was the 1 litre fat separator jug. It's a lot cheaper on Amazon.

Maybe worth to wait for the AfterPay Day sale…

  • Btw, that Oxo 10 piece set is cheaper at Williams Sonoma for $120 [here] (https://www.williams-sonoma.com.au/oxo-pop-storage-container…)

    • Huh? $119.96 vs $120. I know it's only 4 cents but you can't say $120 is cheaper than $119.96 unless i'm missing something?

      • At WS you add shipping $14.95 or so, vs free shipping at ebay, which is more like Amazon with free shipping at $134
        So eBay is cheapest

Umm, ignore my noob self. I went by the face price of $149 on ebay and didn't realise the codes would take further off.

Those pop containers get pretty mixed reviews. Shame because I want to fully organise my pantry.
Looking at lock&lock at the moment.

We've just decked ours out with the pop containers. They've all been amazing so far. Not sure about long term obviously….

      • Same here. I love them. I think I have 4 sets of 10 (3 were a gift). And from those I’ve only had issues with one of the containers (in the two years I’ve had them) and I was able to get a refund for it since it happened a couple of weeks after purchase. So I’d definitely recommend them. I got pretty labels for them and my pantry looks amazing and stays clean for months.

I just got one of these $35 Kmart sets instead, since reviews seem good. I figured I might save a small fortune if they're any good.

        We've had these $20 [Kmart]
(https://www.kmart.com.au/product/10-piece-dry-food-storage-s…) ones for the best part of a year now. They're excellent - and an exact rip-off of the Tupperware ones, so they match to stack.

PS what am I doing wrong with my markup?

        • No space between the ] and (
          :)

        • We’ve got the Tupperware and Kmart fridge containers, found the Kmart really cheap and nasty. almost unusable??

          • @WillisAU: Ours are great. I don't expect the 15 years the Tupperware ones have done, but they are fine for floor, sugar etc in the pantry after almost a year. And they stack with what we have.

            • @TooSerious2: Maybe I’ve got different ones. The ones I’ve got are for the fridge, with adjustable vents for different veg/fruit

              • @WillisAU: Yeah. These are just boring oval shaped plastic tubs with traditional Tupperware press-on lid. They do very little, but they do do it well.

  • Thanks, I hate my ultra basic citrus juicer and the oxo one looks ideal.

  • Can vouch for their peeler and squeeze bottle!

  • Anyone got a set of silicone tongs that are ok for non stick but still good for the dishwasher?

Can go nylon as ok for dishwasher but then they melt if left on the pan.

  • Thanks OP

  • Got the tongs for $7, thanks! Had a $5 off eBay plus code for some reason…

  • The "OXO Good Grips Angled Measuring Jug 2 Cups" are really handy. Esp. if you have a crook back, balance issues, etc.
