Ended up with 7 pieces instead of 6, admittedly it was only because my local KFC can't count.
Or… maybe you didn't notice the small size of one of the pieces? LOL. (When pieces are really small and/or it's close to closing time, my local store sometimes puts extras in.)
We once went through the drive through, and they gave us this massive bag/box. It had 2 twisters, 4 burgers, extra nuggets etc. They said there were a few extras in there. Obviously they were an order that wasn't picked up, and they were going to throw it out.
Yeah KFC are definitely better in that way than they used to be (not so rigid). It's a pity Dominos isn't more flexible like that… If they make a mistake, or someone doesn't turn up to collect, etc the pizza goes straight in the bin. I've seen them bin pizza directly off the oven conveyor because they realise they put the wrong toppings on. Years ago I knew of a small pizza shop who would make pizza constantly and put it on the counter for customers to eat a slice while they waited for their paid order. That is what should happen with Dominos mistakes/non-pickups.
Bought this today, got 10 pieces of chicken in the box. Score.
