Hello,
I am looking for an air compressor to dust out REALLY dirty PC's. I mean, the ones that haven't been cleaned in a decade.
Amy input on this one below? Would it be enough? Anything better around this price?

I'd probably use it on a weekly basis. Sometimes more sometimes less. Can't the output be limited? Would rather have backup power than too little of it
I have a similar SCA one, it's perfect, won't harm PC at all, will be a great asset to have if you want a compressor.
I clean our dust clogged PCs with one like that all the time.
Any thoughts on this one

Is oil free, the other one isn't.
These compressors can also generate water droplets, ie not good for pcs.
@garetz: Then what you do is get a filter dryer regulator for it.
You know the Pressures adjustable right?
im using a rechargeable air duster with 45000rpm bought through ebay worked like a charm
I have one of them, actually the original one that was around $200 when released. Way to weak for this here
Refer to the discussion here You don't use air compressors to clean electronicsPCs unless a proper moisture trap is installed as they tend to spit out droplets of water and oil with the air.
I'd recommend a Datavac ED-500ESD or XPOWER A-2

They get really hot so you need to give it a break after few minutes of use.
+1 Datavac
Any of those compressors are fine. They won't damage things. You just have to be sensible with the distance of the nozzle to the part you are blasting. it's fine
Got this one a while back: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/617981
Seemed like there was a deal for these every other week for a while back then. Search on here should yield some results
I have a very similar one, actually it's probably an older model as i got it from supercheap as well, it does the job perfectly. Only thing is hold the fans with your hand so it doesn't spin them insanely fast and cause damage to them.
Depending on how long the dust has been sitting air compressors don't remove everything. Often agitation with a non static device is also required.
I never dust my PC. It runs very hot but it still runs. I can see the stock cooler is packed full of dust.
go hard or go home

That is probably forcing windows to throttle your pc performance, it is probably 20-30% slower as a result than it should be.
That's okay, I bought fairly powerful components to make up for that.
Just use compressed air

I'm surprised no one's recommended this yet. Would be at the top of my list.

I have the opolar 2-in-1 from a deal on here, not quite as powerful as canned air but still good, not freezing your hand and being able to use it upside down is neat.
You'd blow the PC apart with that compressor. How often do you need to use it? How many PCs?
I have this little (big) guy for my odd air compressor needs: https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-6l-1-5hp-air-compressor-ki…
Although I only paid $99 for it prior to covid-inflation.
