Can't remember where I found this but it's AU$86.07 discount. I know the deal finishes in a day or so but can't find the expiry date anywhere online anymore.

2021 was last year and these games are published the year before their namesake, so it's hard to believe the regular price in 2022 is $100. Usually they have trouble giving these away by now.
Yeah standard edition sells for $24 so can’t imagine whatever add ons “baller edition” gives that makes it worth 6 times more.
Edit: looks like baller add-on is just some clothes and clubs. So anyone still wanting this game would be crazy not to just buy standard edition for 50% less
Yeah, I wouldn't recommend getting anything other than the base edition. It's pretty easy to earn the points you need to get some extra clubs
I looked at the base edition because I wouldn't want the extra stuff, but on the digital store it was still $70+

There is another version that is a lot more expensive. I don't know much about XBox One so I don't know if there is a difference.
It just seems like these companies just leave it at the ridiculous regular price just to catch people out who don't look at the prices at all. Just looking at the linked page you can see NHL 21 for $99.95 while NHL 22 is $32.98 a couple of boxes over.
The PGA games are a little different though, they arnt yearly like Fifa, NBA2k, NHL etc

It copped a lot of flak when it was the headliner of a humble choice monthly a while back but I've actually enjoyed playing it. Most people whinge about the micro-transactions but they just like to bitch about it because it's easy internet points. It's not that expensive to buy an extra club or two. Also, do you really need to wear a special hat or polo shirt to enjoy the game?

I was stoked to hear EA Sports have regained the PGA Tour franchise and will release a new edition for nextgen consoles, although the date has been pushed back indefinitely. I didn't enjoy any of the golf games released since they relinquished it a while back.

When you ignore the graphics capabilities of newer consoles, EA definitely did it better.
I actually prefer EA's NBA Live too…. but they've given up against 2K on that. A shame.
