Just grabbing my usual $2 hot dawg at Costco. Noticed they are diversifying their menu with some good old Viet rolls. No idea if they are tasty but giving it a shout out.
Cheaper than the AVG roll price according to this banh mi index

I took one for the team, and tried a Costco Chicken Banh Mi today.
Ended up giving most of it to the seagulls waiting outside, who I can report enjoyed it. I certainly didn't.
If you're looking for a traditional Banh Mi, this is not it - Costco (and Roll'd) don't really know how to make a traditional Banh Mi. For $5, it was $4.90 too much!
Bring back the clam chowder
We have a excellent Bahn Mi joint near Costco in Canberra although they’ve recently increased their prices from Canberra average of $8 to $9. Yes more expensive than Sydney or Melbourne but loaded with good quality meat like lemongrass chicken and betel leaf beef. Still a bargain compared to paying for a crappy subway roll or similar.
Terrible at Costco Morrabin. Wouldn't buy again for any money
I mean you might as well spend an extra 2-3$ and get the real deal. It's spelt "banh mi" (without the diacritics) btw people not "bahn mi" haha.
The chicken bake disappeared to make way for these. My husband was not happy…and the churros being replaced with the donut balls (where the sauce costs extra), I’m not happy either. Used to stop in to Costco just for the cafeteria, but hardly go there now
take it from a vietnamese.. i tried it once but wouldn't do it again.
Agreed as a fellow Asian (Korean).
Eating Banh Mi in Vietnam was the best. Below that are places in Victoria St Richmond, Footscray, 2 places in Melton, Springvale in that order.
Absolutely bellow average. Decent amount of meat in my case, but nothing tasted right somehow
The quality of the filling makes all the different.
