[NSW] Extra 20% off The North Face Clothing (eg Men's Summit L3 Ventrix VRT Hoodie $252) @ The North Face DFO, Birkenhead Point

40

Went to DFO today to have a look around and stumbled into TNF outlet store. Ended up with a $500 debit on my credit card and a bunch of clothing items.

One of which is the jacket above, the ticket price was $315 but they had an extra 20% off = $252.

I believe most of the items in the store have the discount (*with the exception of some Icebreaker merino shirts, they were $59 but that's still a good price imo)

Wow still quite expensive. Where I live it’s getting not that cold and you rarely need a hoodie. I probably buy at icebreaker on sale. Got some shirts cheap there for $43 each. Hoodies on sale don’t cost that much on sale there.

I note that they meticulously avoid describing what it's made of. Polyester?

That's actually an awesome deal. Thanks OP

If you're into technical gear, check out Icebreaker outlet whilst you're there. There are many 50%-70% off RRP racks there, and also 2 racks of merinoloft/hyperion range that are under $50(!). The price tag says >$100, but apparently the big cardboard sign saying $50 above it overrides it. They are very warm and packable whilst not being extremely puffy.

    • I love my icebreaker gear, i have a few of them. Will check out birkenhead today.

        • Yeap, that's the section! "Unfortunately" I already had some of those items from previous trips to the outlet and didn't get them as cheap as that but still very happy with the price I paid the use I have had since then. Couldn't justify buying more of the same garment as expecting the first ones to last a long time like my other Icebreaker stuff.

Does a percentage reduction on an obscenely over-priced/over-hyped item of clothing count as a bargain? I mean, 30% off a Gucci handbag that's reduced to $14 000…is that a bargain for OzB these days?
