Hi all,

Just Purchased a Zzz Atelier double Mattress last night for a spare room at $239 & noticed they dropped the price this morning to $207…. :I . Thought I might as well post it here for anyone interested. The postage for me was $59.95 that may vary depending on delivery location.

  • Are these good?

    • +1

Yes, theyre tip top for the price. Bought many.

      • +3

Why have you bought many? Have they not lasted?

        • +20

          Maybe owns a brothel.

    • Good if you like firm mattresses. I found them too firm at first, but now I can't sleep in soft ones…

      • Not worth it then, I want to be able to sleep on soft mattresses.

      • Firmness rating is 6.5 out of 10 (according the specs)… are you saying they're firmer than that?

    • +2

They are nice beds but I am having sagging issues with mine.

Only slept on every other week for 6 months and it's noticeable when lying on the bed.

      • Only slept on every other week

Hmm… Where you sleep the other time🤣🤣🤣

    • +2

They sag after 6 months. The claimed warranty is a con.

  • I have two of the queen sized ones. Love the mattresses so far. The first one that I bought two years ago lacked good edge support but the second one I bought last year as good edge support. So I don’t know it that was a quality issue or a design issue that was rectified at some point. Both look the same.

  • I'm told they use Fastway couriers

    • slowway well it takes weeks for delivery

  • Bought one of these on a recent eBay sale and have been very happy with it. Postage was very fast and for the price its been great.

  • Bought this for our spare room and ended up using it for our main bed.

    I reckon great value.

  • +1

Ive been using their queen for about 4 years now, i weigh about 60kg and its started to sag in the middle where i sleep about a year ago, the only thing i dont like about it is the [how to describe it?] hole indents on the top, they are quite big, when laying on my side my knees fall and lock into them or if im laying on my back my heels fall into them, its a bit weird lol

i think the one i have is their old model and the sides arent so great, but around $200 for a queen mattress to last quite a few years, cant really complain

    • +2

      my legs combined weigh 60kg

  • +1

I bought a king two years ago
Way too soft for my liking
Firmness rating is more closer to 5/10 than 6.5

    • +1

Only the super firm, 23 or 24cm thick is worthwhile.

  • -2
    • But this one is NOT Atelier.

These are pretty bad. Sags very quickly (3 months onwards), to the point I can't use a pillow anymore because it causes my spine to form a u shape with the elevation of the pillow and sagging on my back. And I'm 60kg. But if you like super soft, this is a deal

    • i also sleep on mine without a pillow as well, i thought maybe my pillow was too high but this make sense

    • +1 on this. They sag. As some are happy with it, it sounds like a quality control issue. I rotate mine often. I even bought their own bed frame as it supposedly is better (slat spacing is smaller, giving better support). The bed frame is good though. The mattress isn't even worth is on sale.

    $79.95
    this even worth it now?

    They have free delivery.

So if you do the math it's still cheaper here but your saving only like $40 over the RRP.

    • No idea what point are you trying to make here mate.

      • The point is it's not that big of saving for you to rush out and buy one.

My deal website is saying you saying $620 but in reality your on saving like $40.

I was about to jump the gun thinking its a crazy deal but then I found its not far off from the everyday RRP

  • Lots of saggy comments here, maybe some Viagara for the bedroom could fix this?

  • How do these compare to Koala foam mattress?

  • Super firm mattress is great. Added a 5cm mattress topper and it's now fantastic. We trialled ECOSA and returned it. Preferred our cheap ZZZ atelier with a topper

    • Which topper did you get?

    • Link to this product shows firmnbess rating is 6.5 out of 10 (according the specs)… are you saying they're firmer than that?

      • Yep there's a superfirm on ebay. 9/10 firmness

  • is this deal over? Can't find Atelier on their website. Is there another deal / brand worth looking at that's comparable?
