40 bucks for bird poo removal. I washed mine with $3 carwash (Armorall) from Rejectshop.

I think they're trying to remove the slight, etched in marks in the paint as a result of leaving the bird crap on it for too long. Not for the actual initial wash itself.

My wife's car has a couple cos I didn't get to them in time.

  • How us this better comparing to wet baby wipes?
    29$ for 12*52 pack
    Works fine for me

If baby wipes can remove bird poop echting, i don't think it's safe to use on babies.

That won't remove etching, etching has to be cut out of the clear coat to do it properly

    • Only one way to find out for sure.

I got the idea from the Bowdens own page here:

      ETCHING?
If the bird poop has left a mark in the paint, which generally is a speckled, dull finish in comparison to the rest of the paint, you can try and remove it with the Paint Cleanse & Restore. This will work to further clean up and remove the mark as long as it's not too deep. Wash and dry the car, then apply the cleanser to an applicator pad as per its instructions, apply in a circular motion on the marks and surrounding area, leave to dry and then buff off and inspect. Apply a second time if required. Always remember to protect the paint after cleansing with Carnauba Body Wax, Lazy Wax or Fully Slick.
If the mark is still there after this, it will potentially need to be removed mechanically by a machine, which is usually best left for a professional detailer who has experience in the field with this sort of thing.

    • This. it depends on how bad the etching too. if it's deep, OP may be out of luck. You'll get some of the smaller/lighter scratches out with this and a bit of elbow grease though

  • This or Meguiar's ultimate polish?
