Did the price increase for this? Also new models will be announced soon and have some Leaks

    • +2

Yep seems to be higher than the last deal. Just the usual monthly poco advertising =P

      • Yeah paid about $380 only a few weeks ago. Great phone.

          8/256?

        • Looks like there is a new poco x4 pro coming as these models are a year old and getting refreshed at mwc

          • @DaTa: Poco X4 5G placeholder price I've seen is over $800 USD. We'll see when it's released in 2-3 days.

  • Wait for Amazon UK.

Normal warning - no 4G calling aka VoLTE on Telstra…

  • F4 or whatever they want to call the next version should be out soon, no?

  • Don´t bother with this phone unless you are ready to deal with the lack of a proper proximity sensor.

If you want a similar product without the flaws, you can check Realme GT Neo 2, in my eyes better in every sense that matters.

It got improved a lot with firmware updates, it's not even an issue for me anymore.

      • -4

Software updates are not a replacement for a hardware sensor.

I've seen many people still complaining after the patches. The same goes for even more expensive phones with better software like the Samsung Galaxy S20FE

Do you even own one? i've owned one since May 2021. So don't even go there unless you have used one or own one.

            @adrianhughes1998: "Don't go there"

Sure, let's not share with potential customers an issue that owners of the phone have been consistently reporting througout the year including as recently as this very week. I guess you'd rather they buy it blindly instead of sharing the info and letting people make a more informed purchase if they so wish.

A report just 5 days ago from a guy who bought it recently:
            - "I bought a few days back […] (the proximity sensor problem is there though). Otherwise good deal.[…] "Ya only calls. Sometimes it work sometimes don't. I don't notice it much cause I don't call much, if I do it's mostly on speaker."

            Other recent comments:
            - "On whatsapp while listening to voice record the screen shut off even if you are far from the sensor and the result is you can't listen at speaker mode"
            - "The proximity sensor works poorly on miui and despite the fact that you can adapt to it, is still annoying."
            - "I have the f3 and the problem is awful and unfortunately is not fixable"
            - "Main issue is proximity sensor but with software updates it has gotten better but still sometimes it is buggy and you will notice it on calls or voice messages."
            - "Proximity sensor problem is universal but regarding anything else I don't experience issues."
            - "to my experience there's only 1 bad thing on the F3 and is the Proximity sensor (and I'm not a picky guy but Man does it suck)"
            - "if u talk on phone alot proximity sensor a big dea […] but most of the time am using speakers, so no big deal.big deal for ppls who need to call/receive calls alot"

    • Have you had one or just a keyboard man?

  • Any deals global version Realme GT neo 2?

$319 USD on Aliexpress, if only there wasn't the bloody GST at checkout.

  • Which is better - Poco F3 or the Poco X4 Pro 5G?
