This is a good deal for Next Level Racing GT Lite Cockpit. An entry level foldable cockpit for sim racing enthusiasts who are starting out and want something that they can pack away when not in use. Normally retails for $399 from Next level Racing so this is a good discount. Next cheapest I usually see is $379 from other online stores.

With Amazon Prime, the deal is $329 delivered. JB HiFI is also doing the same deal as well, but charge $10.00 for delivery

From Next Level Racing Website:

Those with discounted GCs can pick it up cheaper from JB HiFi.

  • Looks like a nice bit of kit. My stuff just gets in the way.

Comfortable? Looks like you're sitting on a deck chair.

    • Doesn't look the most comfortable I gotta admit. Given how much I sit in my setup, it probably doesn't matter if it's not really comfortable.

LOL u saying u barely use yours. I know the feeling lately. It looks good all set up at least

With a toddler I don't really get that much real free time. Even when I do have some free time, I often have to stop to help out with something and I've noticed as soon as you stop, that run is totally dead. I'm pretty bad at driving games at the best of times but when I unpause the game, I immediately go off the road and wreck my car. Getting in and out of the seat is PITA too.

@ozbs25: I have mine in its own room down the far end of the house. There's no aircon down there either. I don't get a lot of gaming time these days, so tend to play on my main pc in the air conditioned comfort of the lounge room. Feels like such a waste having a kick ass sim racing setup I never use.

I am the same - have one as well albeit a more expensive one and no time to use it. Maybe when I retire but not sure my legs and arms will work when I'm 80 :(

          • @bad hombre: LOL yeh frail 80yr old trying to use a load cell brake and direct drive wheel could be tragic :)

@DanielP2: I have a kick ass looking full alu rig, a GT bucket seat with full dd wheels and load cells but bearly drive for an hour each week. But it sits behind my work desk and it got a lot attention during meetings. Nice talking piece to start a conversation.

    • I used to have one, it's pretty comfy like a big quality camping chair, but keep in mind the upgrade path to wheelsets and pedals are limited.

    • Well unlike flight slim, you play once then forget, this chair you can take out for fishing trips lol

  • Is this a flex?

    Or does it just FLEX?

  • I made a cheap foldable racing frame out of wood that interlocks with an IKEA poang chair. Never have time to use these days, but when I do I just go back to using the controller.

Could you show us a photo of your poang chair mod? I'm looking for ideas. Thanks.

    • I know the feeling. Got a bunch of extruded aluminium sitting here to make a frame. Logitech wheel and a Quest 2 ready for some VR racing..

Hadn't even got so far as thinking about the seat really, was hoping to pick up a cheap old car seat but these days don't even use the Quest as much for other games let alone racing.

      • I had my quest 2 gathering dust for about 6 months, but recently got back into it. Ragnarock with custom tracks is epic.
