Saw it yesterday, but still waiting for it to go more down. Paid some months ago $14 for this!

30 cans of pepsi used to also be $19 normal price at coles and woolworths

I have ordered 30 cans a month ago from Amazon for $17.50. Still waiting for it.

        • Yeh the last 30 pack i ordered took about 3 weeks, I think there is a shortage of aluminum at the moment.

        • Same I ordered on the 2nd Feb when it was on back order. The estimated delivery date is the 26th Feb. Still hasn't been sent.

      • Yeah, just got caught out on the ridiculous price increase. Will return my 30 pack and get 2x24 packs for the same price = $32. How the (profanity) can they increase the price by about 65% ?

Ordered 8x2L bottles shipped on the 9th through Auspost and has gone missing. Beware that this may get shipped by Auspost!

Free drinks for postman and freight carrier

      • +1

You know how hard they work. They need a drink.

    • You'll get a refund and the drinks will arrive eventually.

  • Usual discounted price (every few weeks) is $15.60 ($1.30/bottle) which matches the Colesworths regular discounts. So this doesn't seem a super deal. Reasonable if you need to order now, but in a week or two it should drop in price a little (based on price history - look at CCC).

Can't see prices dropping back down again anytime soon. Soft drink prices up across the board, some things much more than others, e.g. Pepsi 30 pack cans $32 (up from $19), Coke 2L bottles $4.55 (up from $2.85), Kirks 10 pack cans $10.60 (up from $6.20).

      • +2

Yep, it was a savage increase from Kirks. 72% increase overnight. That will be last time I buy Kirks.

VIC prices are always cheaper. In container deposit States its $1.12/L

  • I don’t think it's a good deal according to camel*3? https://au.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B07XDZ5D5N

Prices went up recently across the country. $16.80 will be the new low (previous normal low would have been $15.60 before the price rise)

      • Yep, the 'always low price' of $2.15 for 2L bottles at coles is gone now. :(

  • Reject Shop is still $1.94 for 2L, with a minimum purchase of only 1. Will continue to get my business for now

    • +1

Those are usually close to expiry ones

      • Found my local has got 4-6 months. Consider it's going to go flat a few days after its opened regardless of the date anyway.

        • Reject Shop pepsi consistently tastes very bad and 'off', in my experience.

          • @watwatwat: With a name like the reject shop I'm honestly not surprised it turns people off lol
Personally can't taste a difference but then there's people who have their favourite water brand and won't drink any others, maybe my tastebuds just aren't as fussy 😂

  • The ones I ordered last time went flat really quickly.

    • That's just Pepsi Max and the plastic bottle, you'll notice they have significantly shorter date life's than full sugar versions also

      • I believe it's 6 months from bottling date.

At 1.01 per litre I need to convert my car to run on pepsi,

  • +2

I think the question isn't just cents per litre, it's cans vs bottles and for me more coke cans vs pepsi cans on special

Unless consumed quickly, the unused content in the bottle goes flat, cans aren't an issue as smaller so always fresh ….we have small household. though I imagine some households do several bottles of softdrink per day ….. we do a bottle over 3 days.

    • +1

Yeh I agree, once the bottle is opened you need to consume within 2 to 3 days otherwise it goes flat quickly , lucky I go through a bottle every 2 to 3 days

      • Who would open it and leave it open for 3 days?

  • BACK AGAIN! Good price for gods nectar! All time favourite Pepsi max is back for a good price. I won with my last delivery also $100 with the Pepsi max scan game which might be still on.

    • Cheers got some more , the scan game didn’t work for me last time ?

      • I won an airbnb voucher and received a $100 Mastercard I could use for anything. I used it for a deposit at my furniture store. Strange it worked. That was the only win I got from all those bottles. I had about 3X 11 bottles. No idea how long the raffle period is.
