  • Great price. Ordered one last night and already got notification this morning that it had been shipped out to me too. Shipping was ~$30 to SA.

how much is the adapter for an xbox360 wheel?

  • +1

Was just about ready to buy one and then saw the shipping cost.. yikes.. Nice price tho and would love one…

    EDIT-

Don't worry it looks like you can put the Gear shift mount on the left hand side after all? (just watched the video on the gamesmen website).

  • Yeah shipping rate is a little excessive. Rep, any chance of a deal on some fanatec wheels for xbox 360 and combine shipping?

  • Hey Guys,

videoman - Yes, the Gear-shift mound can be attached on the left & right positions, or can be left off if desired.

SBOB - The adaptor for the Microsoft wheel is $69.95, however we only have 1 left

z00m - This product is around 8.5kg when packed for shipping, so the shipping is higher when outside the Sydney metro, otherwise its only $11. Also we no longer have stock of Fanatec wheels unfortunately, we did stock them for a while but weren't able to get in the latest batch. The closest we have at the moment is the MadCatz Officially liscenced wheel for Xbox 360 (Force feedback + Vibration) $349.95. Our shipping calculator will calculate shipping correctly for you if you have multiple items in the cart.

    • "SBOB - The adaptor for the Microsoft wheel is $69.95, however we only have 1 left"

      ouch…
what exactly is getting 'adapted' for $70?

      • The adaptor is actually from a company called Playseat that produces Racing Simulator chairs. The adaptor they produce for their simulator chairs also fits well on the Fanatec Rennsport stand, but yes, unfortunately it is not cheap, which is why we don't stock many.

    • Hi rep can you Freight Forward on IPEC if account number provided?

I am interested in this product for use with my g27 wheel.

Just a question - my pedals move too much when I use them on a wooden floor; does this stand have drill holes to secure the pedals?

    • same question - will this suit G27?

There's a photo witb a G27 box but the description only says G25

    • +1

If you check out the video on our page and skip to 1:53 you will see the 'pedal stopper' and how it can be set at different distances depending on what pedals you are using. This is suitable for most pedals, however I have found the G27 with the cable coming out the back of the pedals required rubber stoppers (which we include at no extra cost if you ask at the counter or in the comments section of the checkout)… alternatively I have had customers say they use double sided velcro tape to really lock it down. This is a metal frame so you could drill into it but I think that's going a bit far…

      • got to give you credit there for being honest. I have one of these wheel stand (same brand) and the pedal isn't the best fit for G27. You have to do abit of DIY to make it work (velcro tape is a good idea). I am not fussed about it but if you are super sim racing enthusiast then pay triple amount of money to get the Wheel stand pro (http://www.wheelstandpro.com.au/). for me, this stand works fine.

        • "then pay triple amount of money to get the Wheel stand pro"

$199 is not triple $99.95 (and it's less difference if you need the stand shipped because the $199 is a shipped price). I just got the Wheel Stand Pro last week and I agree that it is a great option (very solid and well constructed).

This offer looks like a great option too.

jdr: you are right. I thought the shipping was 75++ because that's what my mate paid (more than 6 months ago), and I think he has to pay extra for an additional part (for G27 gearbox), the total was like $285 ++

The current price $199.95 and free shipping is definitely a good price (for wheel stand pro).

        • Does the WSP comes with a gear stick adaptor and is it mountable on the left? I'd buy the fanatec if it had free shipping.

        • "Does the WSP comes with a gear stick adaptor and is it mountable on the left?"

The WSP comes with a plate to mount the gears. It can mount left or right and can mount right way up or upside down (to adjust height of gears relative to the wheel).

        • Thanks JDR, that's exactly what I wanted to know :) the height adjustment is also a great feature. Now to wait for Wheel stand pro sale :D! $150 and I would snap one up ASAP :P

  • Hi Rep, i want to buy and pick this up on Australian Day, do i need to buy online first? Also are you open that day?

    • +3

      Next year?

    • LoL, i meant Anzac day.

    • Hi Lang, we are open Anzac far but only from 1pm until 4pm. You don't have to order online for this offer, if you like you can simply come into one of our shops.

    • Great, please reserve one for me. I'll come and pick up this Wednesday. Also, i'll use it with my G27 so pls include ruber stoppers. Thanks

  • Great price; and would be super keen but 33.90 to Perth? Ouchies… thats 35% of the stand!

    • -3

yeah same $30 to Melb Metro!! $55 for 2,……. Gotta G27, Ax659 PS, and Video Card Delivered from the US for $25.00….sounds like moneys been made on shipping

  • Used to have one of these and they are great for the price. Shame about shipping, but it is a biggish box and weighs a bit. The stand is solid as. I never had a problem with pedal slippage, but if you're a very animated driver you may want to try double-sided tape. Fits perfectly for the G25 and G27.

  • good price :) been looking for one of these for a while.

  • +2

I had no idea of what this was - I looked at the picture and it looked like some kind of scooter with really bad steering options

  • Shipping seems to kill the deal for me.
Does anyone think it's worth getting the Wheel Stand Pro for an extra $70 (shipping included)?

What's the build quality like on the Fanatec Rennsport wheel stand vs Wheel Stand Pro?

    • My thoughts exactly, if shipping was more reasonable I'd go with the fanatec.

    • +1

haven't used the Rennsport, but i have a Wheel Stand Pro that i get plenty of use out off. Its great because its easy to fold and put aside. I paid $270 for it before they had an Australian distributor. Only thing I find is that on soft carpet it can be quite unstable. I use it on my timber flooring and its very stable.

  • Website says out of stock… will more be in for Anzac Day?? Would probably be getting 2 if there is ;)

    • Hey Neo,
Good news mate, we've secured another shipment, another 50 have just arrived at our Penshurst store (which we ship from aswell, so stock can be shipped out today by 3pm)

      • Any word about the 'gong store? I live like 3mins from there

        • Our Wollongong store is running low but they have a couple left, if your picking it up today or tomorrow you can call them on 02 4225 2424 to hold one for 24 hours.

Gosh clicked the pic thinking it was a treadmill!

  • Thanks I was just thinking that I needed something to mount my wheel on, this will do nicely.
