2021 marked the 15th Anniversary of the international smash hit Harry Potter parody POTTED POTTER, however, due to Covid lockdown, the celebrations were put on hold. The show’s producer James Seabright is delighted to announce that its creators Daniel Clarkson and Jeff Turner, will be coming to Australia to perform in the rescheduled shows, alongside seasoned performers and fellow Brits Scott Hoatson and Joseph Maudsley. With two casts in Australia for the new tour dates, these wizards are ready for anything!
The 2022 season opens in Brisbane on 1 March then travels to the Sunshine Coast, onto Adelaide, a return season in Sydney, then to Newcastle and finishes in Perth on 24 April.
When announcing their trip Down Under Dan and Jeff said 'We’re so thrilled to be bringing Potted Potter back to Australia with our fellow Brits Scott Hoatson and Joe Maudsley. Although the show has been ‘down under’ several times, this is the first time we’ve been able to join the tour together. We can’t wait to enjoy the finer things in life, like Tim Tams, Vegemite and Quidditch, Aussie Rules style! This will be something you don’t want to miss!'
POTTED POTTER – The Unauthorized Harry Experience – A Parody by Dan and Jeff takes on the ultimate challenge of condensing all seven Harry Potter books (and a real-life game of Quidditch) into seventy hilarious minutes. Even if you don’t know the difference between a horcrux and a Hufflepuff, this fantastically funny show that features all your favourite characters, a special appearance from a fire-breathing dragon, endless costumes, brilliant songs, ridiculous props and a generous helping of Hogwarts magic will make you roar with laughter.
This Best Entertainment, Family Olivier Award Nominee and double Best Of Las Vegas 2019 award-winning show is perfect for ages six to Dumbledore (who is very old indeed).
