  • I have been trying to get spare battery for this vacuum for some time now. No luck so far. What good is a removable battery if you can't buy spares.

    • +1

I asked Panmi recently and they're about to sell spares ;)

    • Hey mate, how long did it take for you till you need to replace the battery? And how’s your usage (everyday or every week or etc)? Thank you.

      • +1

My first battery is still going strong. Just wanted to keep a spare because we forget charging and then can't vacuum when need to… So this way we have 2 for swapping, one charging whole one being used.

Also I assume battery life will decline with time so having a spare is always good.

        • how long have you had it for? also how long does 1 charge last roughly based on your usage of carpets and floor.

  • Which Dyson would this compare too?

    • This (23,000 Pa) is like the Dyson V8. (22,000 Pa) This doesn't consider things such as noise level and level of filtration (something Dysons are especially good at.)

  • Any deal on S9 UV robot vacuum?

  • +4

Got burnt by the trouver deals from Gshopper last year. Battery died within 6 months and no sales rep to answer to. Can anyone vouch for the longevity of this vacuum?

    • We've broken the clip that keeps the filtration cannister attached on ours. Very wary of buying anything for which parts are non existent.

      • +1

I second this. My trouver motorhead died after 8 months and you cant find a replacement.

Be extra careful about buying these with proprietary parts - the trouver had an oval shaped connection which means you can't interchange it with other parts from Xiaomi and dreame which use a round connection. I'll be sticking with Xiaomi and dreame - I'm waiting for the G10 to come back in stock with the dual head.

  • +2

This any close to what the g10 etc is? I have heard good things about that one. Really wanted a stick vac for a quick run around the house and my car maybe. This any good?

    • +3

Man, I was wondering the same thing. Still waiting on a repeat of that G10 deal from last year. Made this quick table, but
      1. there are so many things about vacuums that are not really measurable, or there are no reliable measurements on for these particular models,
      2. these manufacturer provided specs may not be that accurate
so take it with a grain of salt.

      Model G10 A9
      Price $279 $169
      Succ watt 150W 120W
      Succ Pa 25kPa 23kPa
      Battery 65 mins 60 mins
      Bin capacity 0.6L 0.4L
      • +1

Haven't used G10 but have been using Viomi for a while now. Get Viomi + 1 extra spare battery and it will still come cheaper than G10 and will run roughly 1.5 - 1.75 times longer. Viomi can switch up suction power with a button. Highest power is quite powerful, we use medium setting for carpets and low setting for floors and it works quite well.

  • My V6 just died and requires $90 battery.. might as well get this?

    • +2

Replaced a v6 battery last year for $40 from amazon. Still going strong and longer than the original.

      • Can you share the link?

This is an amazing vacuum, in my humble opinion.

Ordered it from China a long while ago for my mom, very powerful, good charge on it, very comfortable and light.

I paid 230 USD back at the time.

    This is a steal deal.

    Ordered 1 :)

    Thanks , OP.

      Mum*

    • Thanks for sharing info. Does the battery still hold? Trouver Power 11 (from the same company I think) was on sale 6 months ago and all are complaining now, and it has become a landfill. No battery available either.

      • I haven't heard any complaints from my mom about it, though, she did think since day one that it runs out rather quickly.
When I used it, I was impressed, just don't leave it running while moving surfaces, yknow? like if yiou're done, stop, and restart, its intuitive and comfortable.

However, I paid through paypal for this purchase, if the Battery will stop acting properly, I will contact the store, if they will not replace it, I'll definitely contact paypal for their part of the warranty.

I'm confused why won't people ask for a warranty replacement for the battery from where they purchased it. But I suppose experiences varies.

I really like ours. A couple of points though:

    1. I wouldn't say its "extremely quiet". Its about as loud as you would expect from a vacuum.

    2. The worst part of this vac is that hair gets caught in the two "mini-wheels" (ie not the main roller) on the main head, and after a while they stop rolling and effectively act as a brake. Its extremely hard and time consuming to remove hair from these wheels… usually you need to budget 20-30 mins to do it. I need to do it probably every 2-3 months.

    • +1

yes for number 2! very true.
      Really bad with pet hair.

Human hair only would be manageable with maintenance for sure!

    • Is it good for carpet?

    • how did you manage to get the hairs out mine also got stuck and i haven’t used it since. I asked for a replacement head but they ran out of stock on the official website and having trouble finding one in Australia

      • +1

The tiny wheels pop out and back in, get a flathead under the wheel from the side and life the wheel out, it'll be easier to remove the hairs.

Just be careful, yeah? Don't damage the plastic housing.

If it's too difficult, use scissors to cut off the hairs and pull them out with the scissors like they're tweezers

  • Thanks, just bought one.

  • Any model with a different canister like the Dyson V10s?

  • ebay has the same model at $10 more. Ebay or Panmi?

  • Does it come with a wall mount?

    • +2

Yeah mine did. Just note that it's not a charging wall mount like a more expensive Dyson.

      • +1

It does have room to house the cable and wire it through , or just mount it next to a plug.

        The mount doesn't prevent charging.

  • Hey OP. What about returns if the product isn't satisfactory / damaged / faulty etc. What about return shipping?

    • +1

We do 60 days money back guarantee. We bear.the freight cost for faculty product. While customer need to bear the return.freight if it's change of mind

  • Having own both a Dyson v8 and a Kogan vacuum stick. I can say that Dyson vacuum's No-touch bin emptying feature worths all the extra money.

The kogan vacuum stick, although has one button bin opening feature, does not empty the bin. Therefore I have to manually pull out all the dust and hair each time the small cylinder is full (which is pretty quick vacuuming carpets).
Unless I am mistaken, this xiaomi vacuum stick is similarly structured as the kogan stick. So be prepared to get your hands dirty each time you empty the dust bin.

  • +1

Will this be another Trouver Power 11 that everyone who bought are having trouble with?

This is also from the same parent company. Really disappointed.

    Also the battery is costly.

    • I have trouver 11 and it works fine except for battery deterioration

      • +3

Exactly my problem. There are 2 threads on OZB discussing it. Replacement battery is not available anywhere.

What is the use of vacuum if it does not have a working battery.

    • We own this device and for the past year we couldn't tell a difference since day one.

    • My truover is FUBAR.
Looks great. Worked great first 10x. Now it runs for 30 secs on a full charge and dies. I use it to clean a polished timber floor area thats 4x4 metres.

      TBH Im over stick vacuums.
The Dyson Ive got has gone through 3 batteries.
The Truover is going in the bin.

Can anyone recommend a good corded vacuum as I'm sick of buying batteries and creating more landfill
