Encourage your kids to watch Alphablocks and Numberblocks on YouTube. My 5 year old started reading last year even without going to school.

Numberblocks is great. Didn't even know about Alphablocks. I'll have to check it out. Thanks.

My 5 year old started reading before going to school as well and her kinder teachers kept congratulating us for being good parents and we have no idea how she learned that! :D When we ask her, she just says, it's easy!
PS: She has this app in her tablet but I haven't seen her playing it too much either! Maybe she does it when I'm not watching.

  • thanks!

  • Not a monster. What are you teaching?

  • Good choice!

  • Pretty sad that phonetics isn't spelt 'foneticalee'.

English language really needs an overhaul.
