    Weird product

Who the heck wants to enjoy their spa sitting inside a tent??
Each to their own, but I thought the beauty of a spa was so you could be outside in the elements but still be nice and warm in your spa.
The bromine fumes, the noise…couldn't imagine anything worse!

Someone poops in the spa. Boom! Worse.

    • shade might be nice for those of us wanting to jump in the spa on 40+ degree day and keeps the flies away

Pull the deck umbrella over? Heck of a lot nicer looking and more versatile than a tent!

        • maybe also stop littlies climbing in while you arent looking ?

      • Who the hell wants to jump in a spa on a 40+ degree day!

You just set the temp lower. It's like a little pool, at the perfect temp where you can sit and not be hot or cold. I like around 33°C on a 40 degree day.

          • @Prong: yeah love a cool spa on a hot day. saves a shit drive to the beach with the masses and less hassle to maintain than a pool.
plus you can have a few bevvies while you relax :D

Spa sex in the front yard…

    • I wonder if / where you can buy a 3x3x3m one way glass cube, or if that's more of a commission job.

      • +1

        I think you’ll find that’s a 3-way cube job

  • Looks massive in some photos on a quick search but no size specified that I can find outside our weighing a bit over 8 kg. Might be good for the price as a kids room camping, looks like it has transparent sides…

    • The Bunnings link has the size - 3.5m x 3 m base and 2.2m height. I presume 3.5m x 3m means 3.5m between the points of the hexagon base, and 3m between the flat sections.

It does appear to be just like a big dome tent with 6 large doors that have both a zip up mesh cover, and a solid cover. Looking at the design, I'd expect the zips might drip a little water in heavy rain, but probably not worse than any cheap / single layer tent. Certainly at $69 it is much cheaper than anything else for the size.
