Please have low expectations when buying this torch.

These hand powered torches were invented in Russia in the late 80's to allow KGB agents to be self sufficient when out on spy missions.
Apparently it proved unsuccessful as trying to be under cover and move around discreetly in the shadows was impossible
when everyone could hear this whirring sound when the KGB agents were stumbling around in the dark!!

    Please aware that:
not as strong as normal LED
    don't expect too much
solar panel recharge speed maybe longer
    only a back-up powering method

What's the point? This and this gives you a cheaper, always charged, brighter but smaller/lighter 'backup' light. The Energizers have a 12-year shelf life which is way more than the li-ion contained in this cranking crap.

  • Got a cheap Daiso one that doesn't take charge

    Was $14.99 now $5
No solar though but let’s face it, if you need light, it would be night time…
