    Walking pad as in you need it to be super (relatively) portable? And what’s your budget?

    Xiaomi does walking pads. Wait for 20% off eBay and then get it from gearbite (personally don’t like gearbite but yet to find a more reliable supplier for these products).

    Otherwise maybe a Nordictrack which start from about $1500.

    I'd recommend to pre-order a skip bin for next year when it fails, or you decide to chuck it out unused… ;-)

    I’ve been looking as well. On the one hand I don’t want to spend too much in case it doesn’t actually suit my home office setup. On the other I don’t want to cheap out. I was keen on the Xiaomi Walkingpad A1/R1 because they can be folded up but then read the reviews from overseas and they all say the tread doesn’t stay straight and ends up rubbing against the frame and starts degrading.
