Those gyoza r very good with the airfryers

    • -1

Agreed. Much faster to cook and less cleanup.

    • -2

Not very healthy though when the 2nd main ingredient is salt

      • +19

Of course you would know since you’re full of it

        • All people are full of salt, without it, your nervous system would not work.

If you eat too much salt though regularly, it can lead to high blood pressure, heart disease, and stroke.

        • Mostly on his 'pretzel' ………….according to Mrs jv. = likely to have a stroke!

      gets crunchy ?

i usually microwave them into soup

I found air frying KB's Prawn Gyoza gave great tasting results, but air frying KB's Pork Gyoza didn't give near as good outcomes. Even after I added bit of oil to the Pork Gyoza, they still didn't turn out great.

I feel like this is because the KB's Pork Gyoza has thicker skin/wrapping and more doughy compared to the Prawn Gyoza. So I'll stick to KB's Prawn Gyoza as as my top choice and wouldn't buy KB's Pork Gyoza again.

      • +4

Likewise, their pork and chicken gyoza are too doughy. Not to the same standard as their prawn and vegetable

        • +1

this is very useful information, thank you.

          • @9hundred: No probs, I made the mistake of ordering multiple thinking they were to the same standard. But instead we were disappointed and felt bloated every single time

    • How does one cook these in an airfryer? I would've thought that would be like air frying pasta …

      • I just place them in the Air Fryer and spray a light coat of oil on them.

        air frying pasta

Pasta Chip is also a thing. Boil the pasta in water, drain and add oil + cheese + spices and put them in the Air Fryer.

        • I just place them in the Air Fryer and spray a light coat of oil on them.

I did that but they didn't cook at all. I assume I also have to turn the air fryer on? 😁
What temp and time did you use?

      • Also great for Crispy Chow Mein much less oil than deep frying and no splatter.

are these all in store only?

1000 BONUS POINTS on $10 ultimate gift card?

    • +6

Sure. Where do they sell $10 Ultimate Gift Cards?

  • 10% on ultimate gift cards? Better than nothing! If you can find the $50

    • +10

If you get an Ultimate gift card sold in a $30 denomination (e.g. Ultimate Students1, Ultimate Teens2), you’re getting ~17% of the gift card’s value returned to you in the form of Flybuys points.

      1. This can be redeemed at EB Games.

      2. This can be redeemed at JB Hi-Fi.

      • Any for TGT? TIA Wookie god

        • +2

I’m assuming you mean The Good Guys (TGG)?

TGG only accepts the Ultimate Home gift card, and the lowest denomination sold at Coles (and Woolworths and BIG W) is $50.

          • +2

@WookieMonster: Yes WookieGod. Please accept my apologies. You are indeed correct in assuming my F’up. Thank you sir.

      • +1

Yes, I need eb card this weekend.

Need to finish the ones in my freezer now in order to restock!

Find it odd that prawn gyozas are the same price as pork and chicken

    • I think that's because they use super cheap shrimp mixed with lots of starch. It's not really Prawn.

  • Are these all made in Thailand? I thought they were made in China … Or is it just a Chinese-owned brand?

  • Anyone actually try on the $30 Teens and get 1000points?

    • +3

No one can answer that question until tomorrow evening.

    • +5

Confirmed $30 gift card works. I had $30 student

      • Oh crap I think I f'd up. :* sad

        • +1
