    • Same price at TGG as well (even though it's owned by JB, i've noticed they are happy to negotiate further).

    • Once you have a knob on microwave you always want a knob. Can't get this no knob.

Surely 95% of microwaving is pressing the +30seconds button

        • What if I need 45

          • +3

@Jklaro: Press twice and stop 15 seconds before 🙄

          • @Jklaro: Press 30 second button, then press 10 second button.

If 40 seconds isn't enough, I would imagine a more complicated solution of pressing the 10 second button an additional time might be in order.

I hope you work it out. Good luck to you.

    • Now if only it wasn't black.

      • Just change the last few letters to the ones Panasonic uses for white and stainless steel models and google. Might even get it for less.

Wow, even in 2022.. Black Microwaves have rights too!

    • Has anyone found that there is nothing genius about the sensor and that it just overheats everything and that if you don't rush to stop it, some major incident is going to occur?

I took the bait and bought the latest Panasonic microwave after someone here had a conversation with a rep who told them a particular microwave was the latest and greatest but for the price I paid, I would've liked something less plasticky that actually knew when to stop.

That said, maybe the instructions have something to say about it. May need to invest in a wife for that.

      • Are you asking for a kitchen appliance that literally shuts itself off when the food is perfectly cooked?

        Marketing terms are always BS

Just for one that does what it says. Apparently it's supposed to detect the temperature change or vapour or something?

Maybe it's mainly about the even heating, which, I guess I haven't had an issue with but I can't really tell the difference between 100 and 200 degrees Celsius.

Yeah marketing and advertising make the world go round and turn 90% of the working population into sellouts at the cost of their fellow citizens.

I've used it for the veggies and potato programs and found it does a decent job. Also the rice program with the microwave rice cooker bowl always comes out perfect (using 2:1 water/rice ratio, but leave to stand for 5 mins after). Sometimes for veggies I need to use the Less button for those I don't want too cooked.

I think it's just detecting the humidity, so I guess how sealed the container you are using could make a difference.

        • Thought as much. I'm a very basic microwave user - just reheating things. Microwaves may as well only come with one button for me. An annoyance with the Panasonic one is that you can't just turn the knob to add 30 seconds, for instance (and override the 'genius'). Once again, though, there's probably a way to turn the function off or go full 'manual'. Pun not intended, but probably a sign.

Same price on Amazon with free delivery if that options suits.

    • When Dyson and Panasonic combine…

    • The build quality on these are fine. The User interface has been designed by an idiot. So frustrating to drive!!!

Do you get inside or ride on top?

A quick google shows these aren't $300 head phones, JB always does this with their pricing.

    • I don't think there is anyone who bought these for $300. Lol.

  • I'm looking for something like this for walking and the gym, so preferably light and not too noise cancelling so i can still hear if a bike comes out of nowhere or someone is stuck under a barbell next to me. anyone have any suggestions?

    • Kmart one should work for you mate

    • They're OK for $150. I have the predecessor and find them OK compared to my Sonys (h.ear on 2). Ear cups are on the small side though.

  • Can any one recommend a good BT headphone for Teams/Zoom meetings etc. (budget $250)?

If you are still able to get, get the Razer Opus X. Half your budget.

      • Thanks, I will check it out.
