I bought these exact 3 items a month or so back from Amazon when they were this price and can confirm every one of them came with the BluRay disk included.
Are you sure the exact ASIN : B09NWJJJ3J ?
Not this ? Because there are a lot 4K only movie from Amazon

Maybe, i clicked on your link and it said I ordered that on 4th Dec. It was $10.99, so not sure why they would provide inferior version for same cost.
Clicking on the original link above showed the different version, as you mention.

Oh … I want both disc may have to wait again.
@superforever: Yes, as i said the 3 exact titles you mentioned I got at same time. It was advertised on OzB on 4th Dec.
Out of complete curiosity. What is the difference between watching this on Disney+ and the dvd? Isn’t Disney+ 4K also?
UHD, full bitrate sound. No compression. Some ppl can't see the difference, but I definitely can distinguish.
Not quite clear-cut. In the case of Disney, discs have superior audio, but streaming counterparts (with Dolby Vision) have a slight edge visually. Check out this video that has a side by side comparison of Dolby Vision vs HDR10.
Unfortunately, he is comparing DV against plain Jane HDR. That is an unfair comparison in regards to colour as DV will usually always win. Let the buyer beware though as not all 4k discs are better than normal Blu-Ray or streaming, take for example Terminator 2.
If in doubt, Google a couple of reviews.
@omblygombly: Wasn't that entirely the point of the comparison and comment? Disney discs only have HDR10 while streaming you get Dolby Vision.
Plus, I only get Disney+ on my PS5 and it doesn't utilise the Dolby Atmos soundtrack.
Streaming is fine if you just want to watch on a stock std setup, but some people have dedicated theatre setups that can make full use of the required technology.
Not sure what the bitrate on Disney+ is but on a 4k disc you are looking at a minimum of about 80 Mbps. If you have an OLED TV or something near to to it in quality and a good sound system - at least 5.1, I would recommend buying the disc. Like Damonator tells you, I too can appreciate the better quality in both picture and sound.
Yes it costs more than streaming, but you are paying for not only the better quality but also who knows what these streaming services are going to be doing in the future. They chop and change what you can watch and they are also editing certain movies from the original so to make them more politically correct.
Thanks all. I just recently bought an OLED tv and was wondering if there would be any difference. I upgraded my Netflix to the 4K version but wasn’t sure if there would be any differences to one of these DVDs. Thanks for all your comments!
4k on disk has a much higher bitrate than the 4k streaming services available today ,it will be noticeably better (depending on the film).
I usually never bother with buying Disney/Marvel films on 4K Bluray since they made the stupid decision to support IMAX aspect ratio and Dolby Vision exclusively on Disney Plus (in other words 4K Blurays from Disney don't support either). That and the fact that they're Atmos implementation is well behind the other studios (little to no activity in the height channels and the volume is at least 10db lower)
Agree with all this. Disney+ is now subjectively superior to the discs for UHD Marvel content.
Di$ney
I bought these exact three 4K movies December 21.
Just had a look at my order history, and all 3 movies show the cover as including the Bluray version as well. The ones received were definitely 4K AND Bluray.
This deal is NOT the same. The covers clearly show 4K only.
You might get lucky and get the previous, but don't count on it… covers have definitely been updated to reflect one disk only.
black widow OOS :(
Sorry for the noob question, I haven’t bought physical media in over a decade.
What is “Media Format : 4K”
Is it a special blu-ray or just streaming rights?
4k is the approximate resolution, so about 4x better resolution than 1080p.
1080p is standard bluray resolution.
you would need a 4k screen to play it on, most new tvs are 4k these days.
also look for HDR which is basically better colour.
Thanks but I know all that.
Where does this movie come on? Physical media or streaming rights?
Black Widow is decent, but early critics seems to have rated it quite low.
Audience Score is better.
Interesting, every one of these Disney releases used to have the Blu Ray included.
