the truth is that this highly processed 'kinda meat thing' is not healthy-er than the real thing.

    • Surely broccoli and cauli are healthier and tasty, also thanks to hundreds of years of GMO, so:

One of the ingredients is genetically modified.

Is the last thing you should be concerned about. Nothing wrong in GMO, it's as safe as microwave ovens.

Heston bluementhol is the face of this movement hahaha what a joke, he has probably never heard of such a thing as 'healthy' burgers hahaha what a joke!

  • I won't eat meat unless it comes from a vegetarian cow.

cows eat the grass, they are vegetarian, and highly nutritious.

The Fable burger has become my favourite

    • There was a BBQ pulled pork style fable but I think they took it off the menu? The aged cheddar is too rich for me. Love the pattie though.

Do they sell some non alcohol beers to wash it down with, hmm yummy 🙄

    • why have you revived a 2 year old thread. I started replying to other commentors not realising they were that old.

      • -3

Probably because he did the same thing as you?

        • See my second sentence. I only replied because they bumped the thread, then I deleted because I don't like when people revive 2 year old comments from my history.

@coffeeinmyveins: So you asked him a question that you full well knew the answer to and then downvoted me for connecting the dots for you?

I think you might have some issues, buddy.

  • Bring your own container?

    • not sure how fussy they can be, but do it carefully lol.

      • Depends on the store. Of the two closest to me one does not care at all; happy to do take away. The other had a meltdown when my partner tried to use it while I was stuck at home with covid and made us take them home loose in a paper bag.

  • Last time I had one of these (ironically from a deal similar to this from the same place with the deal listed on ozbargain) it made me sick.

Maybe they've changed the recipe and it's better now

But I don't think i'll be taking the risk

I think the marketing team got this wrong.
