Decent drop, but sooooo overpriced, even on "special".
I think some people are questioning on the other deals why is boutique beer so expensive as it's just water, hops, malt and yeast ….. and how much extra can it cost for more hops or darker roasted malted barley ?

for the second time in 2 days…. here is a detailed breakdown of how much it costs to make to make a slab of beer. The question of "how much extra can it cost for hops?" the answer is a shit load, especially for the imported Yakima stuff (Amarillo, Cashmere, Citra, Mosaic, SImcoe, etc). And then when craft beer (like IPAs, Stouts) are a higher ABV, then youve got the additional govt excise.
Edit: I dont expect Little Creatures to be included in the above category of breweries though

Delicious stuff and was my go-to beer for the past couple of years but i can't bring myself to buy it now they have gone to 16 pack cartons. Was always $62 for 24 bottles - now about the same price for 16 cans.

I'm a big fan of this stuff. This is a good price if you only want 8. If you don't mind buying 16 then using the boozebud, liquorland or firstchoice liquor cashback offers that come around once per week might be better.
