[eBay Plus] Q Reserve Shiraz 2019 x12 $35 Delivered @ Just Wines eBay

250
PLDLIQ

It's a given that this will be pretty average wine, but if you're not fussy, you want to cook with it, or even if you want to bathe in it, it's bloody cheap.

There aren't many reviews, except on the Just Wines site itself and thanks to ianors below for finding some Vivino reviews.

Excludes NT.

Cheaper than goon! Woah never thought that could be possible

    • Yummy. Just Wines products. Sorry my bad, I'm drinking urine from the trough. Thought they had turned over a new leaf for a minute.

  • I wouldn't even cook with it… what would one do with this kind of wine??

      Have you tasted it?

      • Probably dont need to. I've have a bunch of (mixed) bulk buy internet order wine things and 95% of them sucked.

Don't know that I'd be taking wine reviews from people who haven't tasted it.

But if there's a market for it, you should start a website. Sure would be easy.

            @Joker042: Then dont.

@gakko: Mate, start the site. Share your complete lack of knowledge with the world!

@gakko: Lets not Neg this, needs to stay

I'd be pretty sceptical especially for 12 of the same wine. Last Ebay 12 mixed bag I bought cheap was very bad. Poured a few out and used a few for spag bog.

    • Thanks! Added to post.

  • Don't expect the wine to arrive any time soon.

They never send it via express post that you pay for via your eBay plus membership, and they are slow to dispatch too

Plus you get stuck on their spam call list

    • +3

I've always had really prompt delivery and never had a call from them. I'm in regional VIC if that means anything.

    • got this delivered in two days so not bad at all.

  • Cheers OP!

"A well structured complexity of red berries, tobacco and spice, while complimented by American."

Are they telling me this wine tastes like a fat white guy who smokes and eats spicy food?

    • +3

The Q Reserve Shiraz is a full bodied shiraz that offers an appealing aroma of black current and cocoa. A well structured complexity of red berries, tobacco and spice, while complimented by American oak.

If you delete words from any sentence, it can sound stupid.

Are they telling me this wine eats spicy food?

  • has anyone actually brought it and can give us a review instead of the verbal diherroea coming from the armchair critics

    • bought it. Not brought it.

  • The $20 PLDLIQ code sounds promising. I'd prefer to use it on some better wine, but can't find anything else where it applies.

You're never going to get really nice wine for < $5 a bottle. But we've bought some of the Just Wines bargains from ebay and it's rare that it's that bad we'd turf it. Bad ones i tend to add some port to and shove it in the sodastream.

You can always run this stuff through a still if it's too rough to drink :)

3.6/5 rating on a snob review site, good enough for me.

Just got mine. It's completely drinkable. It's not good, but it's about what you'd expect for a cheap house red at a restaurant. Taste is a bit thin, and there's a bit of an eggy mouth feel, but drinkable. Would be good for a sangria because of the thin taste.
