AliExpress 20% Cashback on Affiliate Products (Was 5%, $15 Cap, 7pm-11pm AEDT) @ Cashrewards

2041

Another big cashback increase for AliExpress from Cashrewards kicking off tomorrow night from 7pm to 11pm AEDT to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

There's also 20 AliExpress coupons going live tomorrow from 7pm for Selected Items. In my experience these types of coupons have always stacked with cashback.

Please ensure you check the terms below and make sure the products you want to buy are eligible for cashback in the link below.

During the 4 hour promo, cashback for Aliexpress is capped at $15 in total per member account, irrespective of the number of transactions made, and applies to the purchase of affiliate products only (see terms and link checker below). Valid 7pm to 11pm AEDT 01/02/2022.

Important: Cashback is eligible only on purchase of affiliate products. Check product eligibility on this link by entering the product ID or URL. Ensure you click 'Shop Now' prior to purchase. Claims will not be accepted for purchase of non-affiliate products.

Cashback is ineligible on the purchase of face masks, medical consumables, gift cards, virtual products, coupons, travel, ebooks, AliExpress Top-up, and any non-affiliate AliExpress products.

Empty your cart prior to clicking from Cashrewards. Add items to your cart after clicking from Cashrewards.

Confirmation of delivery or goods received must be made on AliExpress within 90 days of placing your order to be eligible for cashback.

You must return and click through from Cashrewards every time you make a new transaction/purchase.

    👍 Nice

  • -1

Social Good is still offering 100%.

    • Cash?

    • +2

Yes they are. Unfortunately in the last couple of months the value of SG coins has declined by about half and given you have to wait 90 days for approval it could get better…. or worse.

Some people do prefer Aussie dollars over crypto as there's no risk.

      • +2

I've cashed out about $5K from about $7.5K spend over the past year. I think it's worth it.

        • +2

out of interest what are you buying on aliexpress thats worth that sort of money.

Im mainly buying Jersey's and some electronic component stuff and barely spending $200 a year.
Everything i buy though i know is going to be a little dodgey.

Is there some hidden gem im missing out on? or are you dropshipping stuff?

          • +1

@Gumster: Most of it was from ebay when cashback was 50%. I kept getting $100 bonus on $30 spend offers as well which added up.

But to give you some purchasing ideas:

            • Camera accessories
            • Accessories for wheels (car, bike, motorbike, etc)
            • Handyman accessories (wood/metalworking, power tools)
            • PC/water cooling parts
            • Chargers, powerbanks
            • Action cams
            • IoT, networking devices

Basically if there's a market for a common/popular product's accessories, it'll generally be available on Aliexpress.

        • +2

How does a tax return look? What is your initial cost basis?

          • @Sheng: Its considered a gift as under 10K - so no tax.

            • @Mokr: Interesting. What if you swap? and sell the alt those are two separate events.

        • Congrats you're top of the MLM lol

    • Given that most altcoins are intrinsically worthless, this makes perfect sense

      • +1

100% of $0 is, well we know the answer.

      • +2

        most altcoins are intrinsically worthless

        So is fiat currency.

        • Not quite. You can use fiat (the Aussie kind at least) at Woolies. Ever wonder why bitcoin’s value is always quoted in US Dollars?! How about we wait for the day when 1 bitcoin is worth… 1 bitcoin

And we can use it to buy a chocolate bar… in Woolies

          • @tharlow: Yes but it still has no intrinsic value.

            • @haru: A child would not agree with that — child goes to Woolies (or many other locations), gets chocolate bar with $2 coin.

Fiat is the easiest thing to convert into a chocolate bar. That might not be the case forever, but it holds true right now

              • @tharlow:

A child would not agree with that

Yes because it's a child! I suggest in future not relying on children as barometer of financial concepts.

Fiat is the easiest thing to convert into a chocolate bar.

100% agree. But ease of conversion is not what intrinsic value means.

                • @haru: A $2 coin does have some intrinsic value, even though it's nothing close to the face value. At least it's 6.6g of 92% copper.

                  • @NigelTufnel: Yes but that was not tharlow's point. A $100 bill can be used as tinder but practically that is not intrinsic value.

                    • @haru: Well $100 bill is still better tinder than crypto. Though US money probably better since it's paper… ;-)

                • +1

@haru: You are, of course, correct. I may have to start choosing my words more carefully in future, lol

    • what is / how do I use this social good coin?

    • Are they only on the eth network?

    • That's some Good Social Credit

    • -2

So how's that 100% going now that SG has been frozen for a few weeks after fraud? No withdrawals and no selling.

  • Hmm Wonder if anything on steel dive

  • Any cashback on shipping?

    • +2

      No shipping not included.

  • +3

My last aliexpress purchase did not track with cashrewards :( they were kind enough however to pay me out of their own pockets. Does coins on aliexpress app and occasional 11.11 promo codes and qcy codes like QCY3MJ void the cashback?

    • +1

Codes generally do unless they're listed on the cashrewards website

  • $15 USD or AUD cap?

    • -1

Should be AUD. I'll double check.

      • Anything official Clear?

    • last time for me it was USD. I had more stuff in my cart that i wanted to buy, but held off because i thought i hit the cap. but my cashback was over the cap, then i figured it out that it was USD that converted to AUD instead of just AUD. so max should be around $21AUD cashback after spending $106AUD. i don't know what exchange rate they use though, but it should be in the ballpark.

  • +1

A lot of items in my cart gone up 10-20%. Hmmm, sellers anticipated this?

  • +1

Perfect timing was about to buy today after holding out for a week or two with the $4 coupon.

  • +1

    Must resist

  • Stupidly ordered something earlier today on Aliexpress. Feel like such a noob. Hate myself right now.

    • +7

It's fifteen bucks. Nothing to lose sleep over - oh wait this is Ozbargain

      • +2

No half-price Connoisseur ice cream for me this week as a punishment.

        • I thought no ice cream for you would be a more appropriate punishment… :)

  • what's everyone getting?

    • +2

      I might get a watch.

      • +1

        What's on the hit list?

        • +4

Some good suggestions here(AliExpress Sale Top 10)
I've got the Pagani Daytona, and the PD-1694 (patina), both great and look a lot more expensive, the 1694 is top quality (note standard price is $175 and I paid $113).

I doubt it will be as cheap as the 11.11 sale(?) and hard to know what qualifies for AliExpress 20% Cashback on Affiliate Products ??
Also consider they add on taxes and delivery so may not end up that cheap.

Still keen to pick up the Steeldive 1970, or equivalent half price Seiko, great daily wearers.

    • +2

      headphone cable

  • Any easy way to work out what is affiliate products?

      • An easy way. So if I'm browsing ali express is there any indicator to on items to try in that link. I keep putting links in there and nothing.

      • +1

OK I worked it out. The url must come from desktop site.

  • +8

China sellers are all on holiday. Expect delivery to be sometimes in March if you're lucky or April.

    • That explains why my items have an April ETA…

  • Wonder if this is anything, 15% off all AliExpress orders and free shipping?
    https://www.letmecoupon.com/aliexpress-promo-code?copy=915

    • for me, those things never work. i always try to hunt for codes, and lots of similar looking websites pop up with those kind of codes that are too good to be true, and it is. none of them work for me. good luck to you though if they work.

      • +1

Yeah i think they are all bogus or something.
Anyway i checked the product eligibility link in the OP and seems it should be good to go for 20% CR.
        Here's hoping tonight :D

  • Will my cashback get voided if I make a purchase in a different currency e.g. USD instead of AUD?

    • No.

  • +1
  • should I do separate transactions for this deal or it doesn't matter?

    • You can load up your cart from multiple sellers and pay for them at the same time. If you're making individual orders then you must click through CR each time.

      • Hey mate , any idea if there would be upsized CB again ?

    • I would do every item/seller separately, in case you wanna return or refund, then you only lose a small portion of the cashback

  • Can you have items in ya cart already?
I know shopback say don't but not sure if it actually matters as long as Click through the app.

Also can u combine with codes from other thread ($12 off 80$ USD TOPE12 )

    Ta

    • +3

I don't think it matters but to be safe add them to your wish list then add to the cart from there. What I like to do is add the products to my cart, close AliExpress, then go to CR and click through.

Coupons like from my other deal should be no issue.

    • +1

Double checked. 100% empty your cart before clicking through CR.

      • Ok thanks mate will do that
If it was a normal AliExpress sale I'd keep in cart first in case it sells out

      • SO it's best to empty your cart and add to it? How does this work if Aliexpress opens up a new tab each time?

  • What's everyone buying? :)

    • Nothing for me. The item i was going to buy went up $8 in the last couple of hours 😕

    • +1

I'm buying the world's most boring item, printer ink refills.

    • Car accessories

  • All the products in my watch list jacked up 50-100%

    • -1

Nothing to do with Cashrewards. An AliExpress "sale" did start though.

      • Yep makes sense. Seems like it's all just one seller that jacked all their prices

  • +2

Love Cashrewards, already tracked. Shopback comes with a lovely side reward of anxiety and apprehension for 2 days with every transaction.

Also, Aliexpress opens a new tab for me every time I click on a product. So I ended up loading my cart first, closing Aliexpress, and clicking through cashrewards and into my cart. Tracked the same (although we've been warned not to do it this way). Can't fault cashreward's tracking program.

    • +2

yeah, that thing with opening a new window every time you click on a product gives me anxiety about my cashback not being tracked.

    • Gotta love the the almost instant tracking confirmation with Cashreward.

  • hmm I just bought an item but it didn't have the add to cart button, only 'buy now' (usually there's both side by side). Will it still be ok even though I didn't technically add it to the cart?

    • Yep that's fine. Super Deals have a buy now button instead to try and stop you from ordering multiple.

  • Did not track for me and I placed my order nearly 2 hours back.

    • did you turn off adblocker?

      • No ad blocker. Was using work wifi though.

    • Hmm nothing yet either.. first card didn't work, and those codes were running out fast but the order Went through just paid with a different card.
Hopefully didn't stuff it, will have to chase it up again.. every time almost. Edit: there is an amount pending approval so should be ok with any luck.

Make sure DNS off too (adguard)

  • +2

I just bought something and used one of the coupons TOPE4 ok. For a $49 order I managed to get about $6 off with the store coupon + the AliExpress coupon (which paid for the GST). Had some problems with my selected pay method but entered a new card ok. Hasn't tracked on Cash rewards yet - not sure if it was the payment bungle or that I had something else in my cart before I went and added what I wanted from the CR app and went to payment. Fingers crossed (only read about the 100% empty clause after I bought my item - I wouldn't have thought having a lurking cart item which I wasn't going to buy would cause an issue) checked the item on the Affiliated Website link and it was good.

Update: Speak of the devil it's gone through after I finished typing my comment. Thanks CR!

  • $2 worth of cashback tracked in 15 mins at the 20% rate. Cheers OP

  • My 1st (and most costly) item did not track second did ????

    • +1

Did you check product eligibility on this link by entering the product ID or URL.

    • Same. Got 2 items, but I only have 1 transaction on cashrewards for a single item.
[edit: Just remembered that the other item wasn't actually eligible, but it was still cheaper than the cheapest eligible product. Don't know why I bothered ordering that during the promo…]

  • +2

Mine didn't track again, somehow cashrewards is becoming like shopback (and vice versa). Literally followed the same steps as the last offer (which did track really quickly). sigh another missing cashback report, I'll eat my hat if it comes through today.

    • Does it say anything in the app (profile top right - $xx.xx pending approval)?
THat's all mine says, no tracking email.. hmm

      • Nope, you need to look at the individual transactions which appears below that. If it doesn't appear there, then your order didn't get tracked. Just wait the 2 days and submit the missing cashback form. Don't forget to send the url of the item, saves a bit of back and forth. Such a pain but at least they pay out in the end (even if it takes 3 months)

  • Hmm still says pending approval

    • +2

Yep that's normal. Once you've received your order and confirmed you've received it through AliExpress it'll be approved after the stated approval time.

You're not going to be given cashback instantly. Otherwise people can order, get cashback, cashout and cancel order, refund.

  • Nothing tracked :/

    • And they were all affiliated? You didn't have adblock on or use an add-in like honey?

      • Nope, three transactions straight from cashrewards mobile chrome to aliexpress.

Clicks are showing but purchases not tracked.

        • +1

My guess is that most Ali business's are on holidays. (Chinese New Year)

Maybe once they confirm and ship CR will track, that's my thought anyway.
