Unless you need them now id buy these (especially when on special) https://au.banggood.com/Drillpro-99Pcs-M35-Cobalt-Drill-Bit-… - best drills i have used especially for the price

    • What is a good sale price? Looks like a great set.

Comes down to abt 35 to 40 aud. Just search ozb history

        • Scroll down for group buy at $47 delivered

          • @bloom: got mine for $39aud, took months to deliver so dont bank on needing them anytime soon.

    • That's a good deal… 5% cobalt..
You can find 8% cobalt bits on aliexpress for around $50-60usd. Same ones at Bunnings cost $200+

  • Are these drill bits are best suited to use on SS sheet around 1mm thick? What speed drill, low or high and are they compatible to use on Makita cordless 18V drill?
I used Bosch 91 pce drill bit kit and they were useless to drill in SS.

I too have a Bosch set that has rubbish quality - just rebranded cheap crap.

But the ones in this deal have some pretty good reviews on various sites. 18 good quality bits for $50 is not a bad deal.

    I actually know a Total Tool….

  • Won't bother with this mob. Ordered a couple of "in stock" items and weeks later notified my order couldn't be fulfilled and they cancelled it.

Will this fit on Ozito brushless drill machine?

Thanks, bought Drillpro set for half the price of this deal.

    • And 5% off with PLUSJAN5 with eBay plus

Delivery to Sydney seem to be $7.64, although on banner it says free delivery?

      • I have a feeling that 'free-delivery' applied to it at full price… as $99 and over is free delivery.

  • Will it fit Makita?

@gobbledygook recommended me the following a few days ago on another post…so sharing the knowledge…and I quote:

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/sutton-tools-6-piece-masonry-dri… $32.90
    https://www.bunnings.com.au/frost-19-piece-hss-metric-jobber… $39.98

Buy those 2 sets and you'll be pretty well covered.

    • Are the second set Cobalt? does not seem to be as good!

      • I don't think so. I just bought them.

  • Are these good for concrete drilling? Better than HSS?

    • No, for concrete you want a masonry bit and a hammer drill. Cobalt bits are very strong but more brittle, good for drilling steel, stainless etc and they are best used in a drill press.

      • Right. So you reckon HSS is better than this, if you don't have the option of masonry bit?

I need 2mm bits, which unfortunately is not a masonry bit size.

  • Can anyone recommend a good SDS Plus Masonry set, for general fixings into concrete and brick maybe with a chisel bits too?
