Bought one tonight. It took roughly 12min to scan 36 gift cards (pre-scratched with the PINs written large in sharpie), then another 10min to find the one card that was rung up as 30¢ instead of the full $30, LOL. The staff were fine about it all, in the half an hour I was there 4 customers walked through in total.
Just went and got the mini yesterday. No regrets. They're running out of stock in most stores though, I wanted the pink but had to settle for the Midnight.
I bought $1100 worth of TCN cards (in various $30 and $50 as I found at Coles) combined with $170 of JB GC I got from redeeming my Suncorp Reward points. I also got about $30 off at Coles due to my Coles Credit rewards ($10 off during 3 transactions). So in all, I only paid $820 in cash.
I must say, it was not fun doing the TCN swap online for JB GC, and it was one long morning going to 5 different Coles and then doing the whole thing, but it was worth it!
