Google Drive launch

Mod: Google Drive discussions continues here.

Most know its on the way but now its rumoured to be launching next week (Tue or Wed).

5 GB free storage.
Work “in desktop folders” on both Mac and Windows systems.
You’ll be able to access the service at http://drive.google.com

It will be interesting to see how it stands up against the likes of DropBox.
How much additional storage will cost is still unknown.
Either way its an extra 5GB for free.

    Google already own my base, not sure if I want them mining my files too!

    I went to the site above and clicked the "notify me" button for when its ready and it was up and running in about 12 hours.

      Well, even though Forgot69's thread was posted later, it seems to pick up more discussion. We'll consolidate Google Drive discussions there then.
