  • Is it better than Baseus PIR Motion Sensor Night Light??
I bought 5 * Baseus PIR Motion Sensor Night Light and all of them were broken in 5 months. Very poor quality.

    • +2

Much better. Bought 4 of them 2 years ago, still going strong. Baseus is rubbish compare to this.

      • -1

Thanks :) I will buy it when it's doing down to 50% off

    • +2

      .
These are much, much better I already have 2 (tonight I got some more for gifts) those Baseus PIR motion lights were a disgrace, I will never order anything Baseus after that

  • +2

These are good. Have had mine for years. Not bright but good as a night light.

Just in time to replace those shitty nighlighr I bought from amazon.

I would also be interested in these. They look infinitely better.

    • These look good too.

  • +2

So need to buy 7 for free ship?

  • +3

This is not nearly as bright as a cheapy Amazon one I got, but the battery life is so good. The Amazon one is every few weeks, this is every few months. It's enough to light the path in the hallway at night.

I have three of these and think the brightness is good for a night light. Anything brighter and it would wake you up and make it hard to get back to sleep. Just an FYI, it's too bright to use to feed a baby during the night and you'll want a variable night light that dims more.

    Awesome product

  • How do these compare to the Mijia Night lights? I've got two of them and am looking for more. I like that I can customise the time on the light.

    • I like these as you can charge them via usb and I found them to be a little bit brighter.

I own one of these and three of the Xiaomi. The Yeelight has a 750mA rechargeable battery. Put three Ikea Ladda AA 2450mA in the Xiaomi for 7350mA - 9.8 times more battery life. The only reason I purchased a Yeelight is for the hook.

      • +4

Comparing mA is useless. You need to MaH*voltage.
AA's are 1.5v and Lithium batt in Yeelight is 3.7v.

        Yeelight 750mah = 750x3.7 = 2.78Wh
        Xiaomi 3x LADDA = 2450x1.5 = 3.68Wh

This is definitely not 9.8x greater, or anywhere close.

        • Yes, I failed to compare the power usage. The Xiaomi is rated at 365 days vs 120 days for the Yeelight. My experience - the three Xiaomi are still running on the same set of 1900mA Eneloops after 51 weeks. The Yeelight in the same route (same number of activations) needs recharging every couple of months.

          • @sumyungguy: Without taking power consumption into account the Xiaomi would technically store only 33% more power.

Seems like the Yeelight puts out more light if it burns out much faster.

            • @[Deactivated]: Have you factored in the 3 x AA cells?

              • @sumyungguy: Ah yes sorry, 11Wh.

So approx 4x the capacity of the Yeelight, not 33% more, oops.

  • This or Blitzwolf LT-8?
Blitzwolf is fairly brighter with removeable battery.

  • +3

These are a nice warm yellow light. Sensitivity is spot on and long battery life. Good get!

  • @ozcool why are they still there old USB for charging?
    Are these old model

  • +2

Oh cool, a nipple shaped light. Guess I'll take two.

  • Wish the duration was longer, use 2 and highly rate for night - perfect brightness to avoid fully waking up. 10 seconds or whatever it is is a bit too short. Buying more though - perfect for multiuse, toddler bath avoiding the bright bathroom light (interlocked to exhuast fan which is super annoyingly noisey) and camping. Battery is great, lasts months.

Just thought of an idea to reduce flappy arms about to relight, will try pointing it to a mirror + pathway for double the fieldview.

  • Just a heads up for anyone. I bought some of these last night and noticed I was charged 107.27 for everything I purchased and also an additional 107.69 was charged in my bank and paypal, no idea why, no order number to explain this extra charge also.
I've reached out to Yeelight support for info but waiting response.
    Pls check your accounts also.

    • Disregard this comment. Turns out I purchased something additional on my phone without realizing or getting an additional purchase order number for it. Bit odd.
