  • Dodgy store TBH, they dont include the full name of tyres sometimes which can lead to a bait and switch. Alongside very poor customer service.

This is the complete opposite of my experience with Tyroola.

    • Dodgy store TBH

I have never had an issue in all the years I have dealt with them. They even provided me a discount code when I asked whether they would reactivate a deal that had previously expired.

Always had tyres delivered to a fitting centre promptly. Can't fault them on prices and customer service.

  • FYI MyCar (kmart) price match them so you can get a brand name to install them with free puncture repair etc for same price (a bit less as they will beat it)

    • Do you call them up to pricematch?

      • Yes or go to the or store. I did on phone and they booked me in and sent me quote with new price

I ordered a set of tyres at 11am yesterday (Continental MC6 @$110), about 3hrs before this promo started. Asked on the chat for discount to be applied retrospectively and they did (PayPal partial refund processed today).

Never had a problem with the chosen installer or Tyroola for the three times I’ve used them (Tyresales before that - a worthy alternative). Worked out $200 cheaper than MyCar inclusive of a wheel alignment. Most of that saving was in the choice of installer.

    • Agree with customer service being good and I also had a discount applied retrospectively last time I ordered.

    • Got those tyres from them a few months ago. Great price - way cheaper than Mycar,, and the only affordable option for a good tyre for this car. Also got cashback from Cashrewards.

25% off at super cheap auto who 3rd party tyroola

    • +2

      This is the real deal..

      • Agreed. Much cheaper than this promo.

      • +1

They basically just display the Tyroola price but supercheaps current 25% applies (it did for me just now and I'm not even a member) where as Tyroola only have 15% off directly

    • Had a look. SCA charge $28 per tyre for fitting. $112 for fitting seems a bit $$?

      • You can select deliver to home, you don't have to to take up the fitting.
$20 - $25 fitting is pretty standard at most tyre shops though

    • This I didn’t know and wish I did!

    • This deal should be updated to reflect this. You can an extra 10% off through supercheap without a code.
Tyroola may only possibly work out better for anyone purchasing 4 tyres then referring someone else that also purchases tyres as they do have extra discounts when you refer

    • Huh interesting… I need some tyres… I also get extra 10% off supercheap giftcards too so definitely need to check this out.

      • says Supercheap giftcards are non-redeemable through their tyre store

        • Ah, thanks for pointing that out. Woulda sucked to have bought them first and then found that out.

  • Find it frustrating that i can’t select staggered tyre sizes and therefore there’s no way to get a buy 4 get 1 free discount… Don’t need tyres but if I could stack these discounts it would be worth doing it now.

  • Can anyone recommend which brand is good for honda jazz 175/65R15 please?

    • Any of the 88H listings. There are several reasons why I'd choose that load & speed rating.

A good rule of thumb is whatever is the 3rd cheapest, but I'd just go with whatever is affordable for you from the 88H range.

  • Thumbnail looks so similar to the Optus website lol

  • Thanks, just bought a set of 4 even though I won't need them for another 6month or so.

  • Hey all, this deal is not yet expired, just ordered tyres with this deal! It appears to expire at 23:59 on Jan 27.

    Few more hours to go!

    • Thanks for this, gave up before bed last night. Although I was checking the supercheap version because it was 25% off.

      • +1

no worries. Super cheap appear to have different stock levels. I was trying to order a particular tyre from SCA yesterday and it was out of stock despite being able to order from tyroola. Clearly someone thought the SCA deal through :)
