Good prices. Noting a lot of the reviews state they are too large for Australian standard bed/quilt sizes. Most likely UK sizing.

    • +3

I went Googling, it looks like UK has no Queen size, but their King (200x153) is basically our Queen (203x153)?

More concerned about the mattress thickness allowance, though

      • +78

        More concerned about

it looks like UK has no Queen

      • -1

Because the queen is the current sovereign, it’s the larger size in the UK. King size is the smaller size (our queen size).

        • +1

Is that a joke or for real… Could go either way!

    • +2

Never even heard of Semi Double

      • Maybe it’s like a king single

        • It has the dimensions listed; 20cm skinnier than a regular double.

      • +2

It’s a Japanese thing, you can get a semi double room in Japan, it’s smaller than double and bigger than a king single.

      • +17

it's like when you get a semi in a double bed

        • +3

          oh my lol

    Don’t forget 16% upsized CB

    • +1

I don't seem to see the upsized CB offer at both CR and SB?

  • Nice. Been wanting one for ages.

  • Want to get something like this but the reviews all say the queen size doesn't fit. Anyone know some other brands that also do cooling sheets?

    • Linen sheets are awesome for cooling. Try them.

  • Looks like their king is 200x180x30 - whereas the standard king here is 203x203
mattress height might be an issue - some pillowtops can be very thick 35cm+
    Just beware
    Good prices though

Standard King size in Australia is 183 x 203 cm

      • -2

Shirley they can be rotated? ↕️↔️

    • Standard king here is 183x203. Super king is 203x203.
If these sheets are 180x203, they may fit a standard king but be a bit tight. It would be the same as ikea sheets/bedding.

  • How are these for Melbourne hot weather?

    • +1

      FABRIC DETAILS
      80% Polyester, 20% Cupro

      From the web,
Polyester sheets are lightweight but less breathable than cotton and have a tendency to trap heat. Some weaves trap heat more than others.
Cotton is a breathable fabric. The material won’t trap excess body heat, making it a good choice for those who sleep hot or live in warm climates

      • +1

Yes but they’re AIRism which bizarrely feels more cool in current muggy Adelaide weather than cotton. At least for the AIRism t-shirt I’m currently wearing. I can’t speak for Melbourne.

        • can confirm that the fibre "structure" is way more important than the material itself for a lot of things.

        • +1

Yeah I'm sure they're made of old garbage bags but Airism shirts are very breathable

      • +4

Yeah thanks. Poly sheets are no good to sleep on, a high quality cotton is far better however more expensive. In my opinion invest in your sleep, it's worth it.

    I’ve checked the queen size.

    Sheridan’s queen-sized fitted sheets are measured 152cm x 203cm x 40cm and/or 50cm

    Uniqlo’s are 160cm x 200cm x 30cm

Yes, I think the thickness can become a bit of a problem.

  • Which uniqlo size is king single?

  • +13

I bought this and it's not comfortable at all. Feels too polyester, returned it. I would not get it.

    • +3

That’s why they are on sale…
      AIRsm clothings however are great!

  • I've got a king single mattress that's 107 cm wide. Should I spring for the Uniqlo single (100 cm) or semi double (120 cm) fitted sheet? What's the rule of thumb for fitted sheets, to size up or down?

  • +2

love how comfy these are but they started pilling after 2 washes :(

  • +24

I can't believe people are buying these - they're polyester AND they don't fit?? Do yourselves a favour and get 100% cotton sheets from a store that sells bedding that actually fits Australian mattresses.

    • +9

For real. Been using the Kmart sateen sheets ever since they were recommended on here. Cheaper than these polyester sheets all the time.

    • looks like it can (could?) be returned according to the comments above so… eh why not

    • target linen sheets are amazing

    • +1

Agreed, i can't believed this much upvote.

If anyone has a Koala Queen mattress, it fits very snugly

    • Are Koala mattresses that good?

      • Steve smith thinks so?

      • I have the original one before the new 3 version refresh, had it for almost a year now. Not sagging for me and still firm. I don’t know what to compare it to soz but it’s like 8/10 firmness like the extra firm mattress at ikea

  • apparently they arent great? from the uniqlo website feedback

  • Polyester sheets? No Way Jose

  • +5

    Why so many positive votes?
    Seems like an average product?

  • +1

I find these are very comfortable and decent at keeping you cool. Don't know why there seems to be so much hate from people just judging it from the material without trying it

  • I have these, big neg from me is that they pill really easily if you have any roughness on your heels. I've rotated and flipped and pretty much going to chuck out once the pilling is quite bad.

  • -1

    lol polyester sheets, garbage
