I'm truly tempted but matx mobo in atx case is aesthetically painful

    • +2

Yeah not the prettiest thing out there.

  • looks good - arent prices going down though at the moment not up? still seems good value compared to what else is around.

    • Yeah they are, previous deal had this priced out at around 4.2k. There's been drops in GPU, CPU and RAM, so over estimate to build is lower. But still seems alright. Could maybe hunt around and get a$1899 3080 and this would put the build around $3546.80. Still saving a couple to a few hundred considering build costs and discount.

I bought during the previous deal and happy with the service/delivery - PC was well packaged. As mentioned on the previous deal, the CPU cooler is quite loud

    • I have the same EVGA CLC cooler.. fans definitely need to be replaced.

    • Does it randomly go loud like an engine revving?

      • There is a consistent whirring while the computer is on, even doing lighter tasks. It immediately increases in volume when I boot up a game

  • Bought this during the last deal. Very happy with it!

  • Bpctech, if you're here.. Any chance of changing the mobo to an ATX one?

They're apparently pretty responsive on their Facebook page. They didn't post this deal so may not know to respond here.

I don't understand why "save" $350 bucks and miss the chance to pic all your own parts, pretty much being stuck on the selection made by the seller.

That means 10% off, even harder to understand when the 3080 on the post was quoted as $2100 where here is posted for around $1900-2000 and the 360mm aio for $179 looks away to expensive for what it is. This drops the "saves" even further.

Some people do not have technical skills to build their own PC, nor have the time to wait for the parts to be on sale and then for them to arrive one by one.

      • Would you say it's hard for a first timer? I have been deciding between prebuilt and diy

        • +1

It is not that difficult to build your own PC but putting it up is the easiest part. Troubleshooting if something goes wrong in the assembly is pain in the ass. However the hardest part imho is researching for parts and making sure you are within your budget. Oh and waiting for the parts to arrive. LOL.

I would safely say over 90% of the world population don't know how to build their own PC.

  • Order the dell xps deal the other day - should I switch to this one instead?

    • +1

I guess this one still need to add Wifi & install windows + buying the key too? But XPS is fully ready plug & play

  • Sold out again. Guess people like it.
