Any chance for a deal on the deskpod 156w OP?

  • +3

    C1 +C2+A1: 45W +45W+18W (Max 108W)

This does not seem right. 90W or 108W?

    • +4

Usually when these chargers are advertised it is as the highest wattage you can get through one usb port. So if a single usb device is plugged it, it will charge at 90w. The 108w is the total output across three simultaneous usb ports. If it were advertised as 108w then people would expect a single port to be able to output 108w and complain.

    • Yeah I was about to ask the same thing. How can a 90W charger have a max output of 108W?

      • +3

90W is the max output from a single port. Combine ports simultaneous output is 108W max. As explained by Nadder

        • Thanks mate :)

Personally, I believe the total W should be advertised instead of Max but that's on industry as a whole.

Because there are actually 2 adapters combine into one, the 90W output with 2 USB-C and 18W with USB-A. Therefore 108W is the maximum this charge can take, but the maximum output at a single adapter is 90W.

Does leaving cables in impact charging speeds? example: I leave in 2x usbc cables but only one is taking charge, will it be 60w or 45w?

    • Apologies for a late response. If you have all 3 cables connected but only 1 functional, the output will not be affected. If you have 2x USB-C cables connected and only 1 in use, it will still support 90W single port output. This has been tested using the Zyron 100W Cables.

      • Thanks mate! This is much better compared to the Heymix 66w I have.

        • If you have purchased already then kindly leave us your honest review on Amazon :)

  • Wondering how this might go with a Lenovo Legion 7i? Not worried about gaming performance, (i'll use the provided 300W for that purpose). More interested in knowing if 90W can slowly slowly charge it whilst its in use for internet browsing, ms office and probably watching videos on youtube and other streaming services. This laptop absolutely eats battery.

My current 60W charger doesn't do it.

    • I have L5P and a 65W USB-C charger can charge it.

      • to be fair my 65w one has always been a bit naff. i'll give this one a go.

    • Mate the devices connected to a laptop or a Computer has a minimum power requirement to run the components. I am not sure of the minimum power required for Legion 7i but the gap between 300W and 90W is quite a bit. I would not recommend this charger for your Legion 7i.

  • Got one, thanks 😊

    • Cheers mate. Please leave your honest review on Amazon after your receive it :)

  • Are these chargers compatible with USB C to magsafe 2 cables?

Looking to replace a 45w Apple magsafe 2 charger but would prefer a charger like this.

Heymix chargers in their description on Amazon say not to use these types of cables with their chargers.

    Not sure why
