Hi all,
I think many of us bought a SIM card using this Deal in November last year and activated it as well.

The suggestion from experienced ozbargainers was to leave the sim active for 60 days (to meet the requirement of Sim to be active for at least 60 days) after it expires in 28 days.
I am probably in the last week of 60 days and I want to port it out to amaysim in the next week or so.
Now my question is
Is it okay to port out after let's say 63 days ? Or should I wait for cashback approval which is around April this year ? How was it like for you guys ?
I haven't utilised cashback thru shopback or cashrewards on Vodafone sim plans. So, your advice will be appreciated.
Thank you.

I think I will wait till the cashback gets tracked. Thanks.
It takes 3-6 mths to approve. I bought 4-5 VF SP last year, got enough exp to claim what I said.
There was an issue in one order that the SP was yet to be shipped, but the cashback had already been approved. I got it via other delivery.
If I am correct there was two options for Sim expiry while activating. One was for 365 days and the other was something else. I don't exactly remember what they were but I certainly didn't chose 365 day option. From your experience does choosing one particular option over the other have any effect on the time it takes for cashback to get approved ? Mine was a 28 day expiry starter sim pack.
Anything over 3 months for approval seems a bit too long but I am not too fussed because I think it was $4 plus $15 bonus cashback. So, wouldn't mind waiting.Either Cashback site or VF do not know how to track down the activation status of a SIM or a too trivial thing to be bothered. Order from this exp was approved.
I think the related terms is not enforced, even no activation needed. However, do it at your own risk.
