I've seen some statements saying it only goes up to 15V when the input is < 24V.
Ie, 20V only happens when the input is 24V.
I've got one of these. it has a buck boost mechanism from my understanding that allows it to crank the output up to 15v when input is 12v. i've seen 15v 2.5A on mine but it does go hot pretty quickly so it works better for exposed sockets rather than hidden sockets. the new baseus 100w model has a buck boost chip that allows the voltage to get cranked up to 20v, but theres a cap on the max wattage output.
I've been using the usb-c port to charge up my two way charging xiaomi zmi powerbank whilst the powerbank runs my front and rear dash cams as a battery backup parking mode, it gets hot but it sustains the charging rate well.
How many fuses will I need to replace before throwing this in the bin?

Never seen any cig lighter socket with less than 10A fuse. It should be fine if not drawing more than that.

If anyone knows of a good USB C PD charger that runs off 12V (cigarette lighter) that outputs 20V, I would be very grateful.
I have this one. It worked really well in a tiny form factor. $100 is not cheap tho.

That's ok. As long as I get 20V/2.25A I can make it work.

There is this one from Heymix, currently $24. Worked for my minimum 45w draw for my notebook. My notebook is 12v tho.

anyone have the 100W version and confirm the length? It says both 75mm and 69mm in the listing.
may not seem like a big deal, but it's the difference between the little door that covers the pocket the 12v socket is in in my car closing all the way or not.
Wondering what is the max PD power when used on 12V car instead of 24V truck for both 65W and 100W version?
