I would like to access my Windows 10/11 PC'S wirelessly from other rooms on a tablet size screen with either a hardware or software solution. The option of buying an equivalent powered Windows tablet as an alternative is too expensive. Is there any such option or would the power requirements be prohibitive for a battery powered screen?

Thank you. This seems worth consideration.
Maybe not quite what you're after but I use spacedesk to make my older Android tablets become additional displays for my laptop. I connect via USB and there is an option for wifi but I don't use it.
Thanks. I'll take a look at it.
iPad as a good choice, it can act as a wireless screen for Windows good enough for most things and you still get all the iPad features. You'll pay just as much or even more for an Android tablet the same quality as an iPad.
RDP is the way to go. Anydesk is a nice fast option.
AnyDesk isn't RDP though ;)
Haha ahh good call, I meant RDS
Thank you. I'll add this to the list of software to investigate if it will run on a cheap tablet.
