          I'm not 100% sure but I don't see it being an issue.

          Especially for non-gaming it should be just fine. I just looked up your laptop (you mentioned HP spectre x360 in the other comment) and it seems like a pretty well-specc'd machine. Should be completely fine for general browsing.

            @mangobango: Yeap spec wise it's decent apart from a dedicated gfx card it's only using the integrated Intel from that 2018/19 era. I just wasn't sure if it'd handle 2 X 4k as I remember trying counter strike go once and stuttering. Whereas my 2011 Asus with dedicated gfx card laptop worked fine

        Can you pair the invoice with a receipt to show actual amount you paid for the gift card? Provided if the invoice shows paid by gift card. But there is no way to prove the paid by gift card is the discounted gift card. Gets complicated, so yeah, most likely no.

          Except it's the "cost" of the item, not how much you paid…

          The cost is still >$300, even where you used an amount of gift cards that cost you <$300.

            @Mavstrong: Incorrect. The cost is how much you used to pay for something. If you pay $200 for an original costing $400 laptop that's the price for tax. The issue is using 300 cost based gift cards when you paid $250… It makes it murky. Arguably imho if you have the activation receipt and eBay invoice clearly linking the unique gift card together you could argue the real cost paid was $250…

            That said maybe the $300 write-off is based off original cost but I doubt this… As anything can be discounted well below RRP and you wouldn't base tax values off RRP.

              @SaberX: What I meant was, if the price (the price you pay, not the RRP) is $301, that's the"cost".
              Whether or not you paid that $301 with gift cards that cost you $10 I'd argue would be irrelevant, the cost base of the item is still $301.

    Can a standard integrated inbuilt Intel gfx card on a laptop (have a 2019 HP spectre x360) handle a 4k 27" monitor plus a second monitor of say 4k or 2k? Just wondering if I should stick to 2k if 4k will cause issues on a 27" or 32 " size. Would be less worried if my laptop had a dedicated gfx card but unfortunately not.

          I wouldn't get the stand cos vesa mounts are cheaper.

          Delivery to Australia is $90 too I believe.

          I think the main issues people have are with delays.

      I got an SMS last night saying it's been despatched and delivery expected on the 27th.

      So took around 3-4 days to post and hopefully it actually will be arriving by Thursday.

          Not sure, I haven't received any emails yet but I imagine an invoice will come with the goods.

          Hopefully one via email too for convenience, but if not you can go to your order details on eBay and click the "printer-friendly page" button to bring up a receipt.

      Some people might have a desktop permanently connected, and then a hotdeskkable laptop cable, perhaps? A USB-C cable would be much more preferable for this use case.

        Mine ordered on 21/Jan 9pm. I messaged Dell on eBay and they provided an order number for me to track on the Dell website. I guess you could do the same before cancelling the order…

    Mine (S3422DWG) arrived last night, hooked it up this morning but didn't seem to want to work over display port (tried a couple of different DP ports on my graphics card, nothing). Went to HDMI instead and no problem at all.
    Any hints/traps for display port? (GeForce GTX 1070)
