The Smithy's Premium only used the finest ingredients, creating a refreshing lager that is the perfect balance between malt and hop aromas with exiting subtle fruity finish. Smithy's Premium Lager Beer is named after one of the pioneers of footy, Thomas Henry Smith, who was part of the group of men responsible for drafting the first Rules of Australian Football. Smithy's is a clean, crisp, refreshing lager brewed in Victoria using local ingredients. The result is a stellar beer, perfect for any occasion.

This could be a homebrand of Coles/Liquorland.
It tis
Have you heard on it?
No, you?
jv has just been jv'd
The greatest comment this month.
Magic
It is homebrand of Coles liquor land
Why are they hiding that on the packaging?
Yep that Tinnies (overpriced lollie beer), Lorry brother (the Pacific Ale is really good).
You can tell all the homebrand stuff at Liquorland/First Choice/Vintage Cellars, on the pricing label it has an "E" inside a diamond, which stands for Exclusive Liquor Brand.
How does it taste?
beer-y
Sort of like crownies
Not bad, but nothing spectacular.
Well for the price, if I add my own lemon or lime, I might give it a try.
If you have ALDI liquor near you the St Etienne beer is very nice and around the same price all the time, you can also buy a beer called Leo for $18 x12 bottles ..it is pretty much Singha (same brewery) and is also a nice beer
@Spendmore: Oui, Merci. I don't mind a French biere. Sadly, I live in QLD.
@Spendmore: 110% agree on the Leo. Great Thai Beer!
@BlueDiesel: Yeah I buy it more than the St Etienne now, such good value.
@Spendmore: I can't stand St Etienne. They've obviously gone for a Boags premium ripoff, and all I can think of when I drink it is 'this tastes like an off boags'.
@Grazz989: You are thinking of the wrong one, st Etienne looks a bit like Stella.
The one you are talking about is Fraser Briggs in the green Noah's style packaging.
I don't think much of Noah's to begin with so steer away from this.
Their Leo beer is my pick at the moment.@Spendmore: You are correct and I have made a minor buffoon of myself. Yes, Fraser Briggs.
Perhaps I'll have to try both Leo and Etienne :)
@Grazz989: Hahah welcome to the Buffoon brotherhood, hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised with the beers.👍
The Smithy's "Easy Drinking Beer" is anything but easy to drink, and this "Premium" is even cheaper. YIKES! Try a single first, then decide.
At $10 a six pack, barely cheaper to try one bottle lol
Never heard off it
