  • Pick a similar blade restorer up for About $5 on Ebay but beware results are mixed.

    • link?

    • Indeed.. I bought the baesus one.. It's basically just a sanding block..

      Mixed results..

Do the blade restorers actually work?

    • Yeah they can. You want to clean your windshield too so it doesn't go right back onto it though.

    • I'm curious about this also. I find it difficult to believe cutting wiper blade perfectly straight would be a difficult task.

      • It's more of a sander than a cutter, so as long as you apply equal pressure when using the tool, it should be fine.

    • No! At least my experience has been a negative one

why not buy a pair of brand new wiper for sub $20?
Whatever to smooth will not recover the aged rubber after many years of use

    • +4

Good wipers can cost a lot more than $20.
If you've got cheap wipers then this isn't worth it.

      • +2

My Mondeo has specialised wipers so you can't just replace the rubber, or buy standard blades.

Of course they are more expensive.

        • Yep 26" and that'll cost ya more than $20

    • I got Bosch branded ones for $15 each :/

Green scour pad, works amazing. Multi pack $2

  • WD-40 works just the same

    • +1

WD-40 would clean it, but this tool is designed to remove jagged edges formed on the wiper blade over time.

      • If it has jagged edges, I think it's time to replace it!

        • I agree, but I think they are quite small in comparison to what is shown on Baeseus' marketing photos.

    • +4

Silicone WD40 for wiper blades apparently works best.

Went to check the review on their Taobao store. It was mixed.

  • how this work?

  • +4

bought one last time, didn't work at all…

    • +1

I second you. Mine didn't work as well

      • +1

Third disappointed customer who wasted money. Solvent solved the problem though .. 🤭 .. !!

  • Wet n dry sandpaper all u need , pinch blade with wet n dry couple rubs up n down wala like new.

    • What grade SP

  • i give my wiper blades a coating of carpro reload every 1-2 months, and a quick wipe-down with a wet paper towel (or one of those wet trolley wipes from colesworth) every other day during the drier months. i use bosch aerotwins (and the old aerofit) and i find it's the metal insert that rusts and loses its shape after 5 or so years.

  • +1

i got one of these, it doesn't work well pretty hard to apply even pressure consistently and there is almost no instructions on how to use it properly.

WD40 ever 4-6 months i find still keeps the wipers like new.

  • Is this site even legitimate? Can anybody share his/her experience?

    • It works and I have bought from these guys before
