  One of the reviews

  The device said to apply lotion on the electrodes. Do not do this. The massager got stuck to my neck and it felt like I was electrocuted. This is not a massager. Definitely not recommend. My friends disliked it as well.

  This is actually a really good device with a high build quality and USB C. It uses electro frequency (no idea what that's actually called lol) to simulate massage, acupuncture etc. Once you figure out how to use it it's actually great. $20 is a steal.

  Beats the Kmart $40 one which literally just vibrates and has to be plugged in for heat

  Wife has a lot of debilitating migraines - this has helped her significantly. It isn't a massage, but more a series of electric shocks which cause muscles to tense and release, can take some getting used to - but can be relaxing and along with a lot of Nurofen, ice packs, and complete darkness; it does help her return to being functional; not a bad price - definitely not your standard neck massager though.
